I have been waiting for this cd. Dance Party 2006 was highly enjoyable to me. My favorite song would have to be Bob Sinclare's Rock This Party, he uses nice beats mixed with 90's dance vocals. I also really enjoy the remixes of Bananarama's Look on the Floor. It has a nice trance like feel to it as well as the remix of Kiras Against all odds, I liked the original a lot to. One song that I didn't like was Love don't let me go. It just didn't grab my attention like the others did.

Overall a very good cd! If you like previous DP cds you should have no problem with this one!

Indiana-born Bruce Hubbard died of pneumonia in 1991 before he turned forty. The Christmas before saw the release of this, his only recital album. EMI knew they had a potential star on their hands when Hubbard triumphed in their complete 'Show Boat,' and we can only imagine where his career would have gone. Copland's "Old American Songs" has received one classic reading, from dedicatee Wiliam Warfield, but Hubbard is just as powerful of voice and much more nuanced in his singing -- these winning folksongs here reveal depths of feeling that I never imagined before -- Hubbard's abilities are those of a born singer with a God-given talent for communicaiton. This performance alone guarantees that I will remember him as a tragic loss.

Hubbard's velvety bass echos the duskiness of Leontyne ... Read More

This series of ambient & drone compositions shimmers and glistens with a crystalline digital veneer. Standouts include the stately and even majestic coolness of the filmic 'Into The Marshes They Drove Me', which features sounds sourced from the post-rock band ISIS. Further listening on cuts like 'Coral Gables' recalls a softer, gentler electro-ambient vibe, like a melding of Basic Channel, Eno, and prime Tangerine Dream maybe. Kowalsky's use of space and frequency is subtle and pristine, and his sounds emanate like a gentle glacial drift with the first traces of life springing forth. A very enjoyable and interesting release that fills the room with contemplative texture and fresh, clear air.

After carefully picking my way through all of the Zeppelin collections and
albums out there, I settled on this one. Why? Because it has the best song list of all with no junk fillers. This is your best value in terms of price and delivery of the heaviest of Led Zeppelin's
hits.

I'm always looking for new music, and honestly it's not too often that I decide to try something new and it turns out to be great. This CD purchase was one of those rare times when the music really exceeded my expectations. It's very creative and the music is rich and complex, but still accessible. I am a fan of world beat, which is how I would classify this disk. It also has an old world folk sound. The lyrics are insightful without being overbearing. I came across Kiva looking for music along the lines of Justin Adams, who I also really like. It's also reminiscent of Dead Can Dance. Highly recommended!!

i bought this album more out of curiosity rather than interest as i already have the London philharmonic album Kashmir which awesome,I found that this album is equally good although the london philharmonic's version was grander.
