Somewhat formulaic pop album with no great surprises, only saved by Leona's pure musical prowess and simply beautiful voice. She is truly deserving of her win, with her voice she could be a star for decades to come,she could make a cornflakes jingle grammy worthy, but she needs better material.

If you're allergic to cheese, read no further. This one is chock full of amusing, overheated, and over-the-top lyrics about being brides of Satan and drowning in madness. If you can endure that sort of thing with a smile, you may find some kicks here. I suppose I'd want to write that sort of thing, too, though, if I were in Texas. It's almost as if someone were trying to put together a new version of the Runaways (remember them?) with this all-girl band. The music, though, sounds pretty much like aggressive grunge or lo-fi, not quite in keeping with the pose. And there's the problem. This smooth Jazz Karaoke version of the songs from the "Spirit" CD of Leona Lewis are a mixture of Kenny G (saxophon) type arrangements for lonely hearts at a late night bar. Its the style where you cant help it but want to go and cuddle up with your living partner on the sofa and spent some good quality time together. Most of the original songs already have a strong melancholic touch, but the saxophone rearrangement on this CD multiplies that effect. In some ways its better than the original "Spirit" CD. If I gave "Spirit" 5 Stars this one should get six stars for the smoothing part of it and the satisfaction and peace it creates in peoples hearts around the world. ;-)

My almost 5 year old loves this CD, we listen to it all the time. She also gets excited when we hear the songs on the radio

This white-bread CD is tired, lame, superfluous, and lacks complete heart and soul. What's to celebrate with this mess of a CD? I find it very hard to believe this is the best compilation ANYONE can come up with to celebrate gay pride. PI-T-FULL.
