Like a breath of fresh air, Ivy's music leaves you feeling light and energized. Being a fan of Astrud Gilberto's, I hear faint similiarities in the music's style: airy and smooth. "Worry About You," "Undertow" and "Edge of the Ocean" are incredible. The music just makes you feel good! Ended up buying all her cd's, but Long Distance, in my opinion, is the absolute best. This music clears out the cobwebs.

Enjoy

What an album! After three years of waiting for a follow up to "Mugimama? Is this Monkey Music?" Mugison returns with "Mugiboogie," a straight to hell bluesy rock trip that will make your ears perk and want to tell everyone you know about this rocking band. 'Monkey Music' was a recipe of mind boggling lyrics, romance and rock, all thrown together towards great cohesion. 'Mugiboogie' takes it too another level: the songs are tighter and louder, the lyrics mysterious and fun (!) and with a full rock band Mugison reaches to a full new level of greatness. The band is from Iceland but have tapped into an American rock vein that seems to be lacking here in the States. Mugiboogie is like listening to a 'Classic Rock Record' but its current, new, electrifying and if you couldn't tell, awesome. I can't ... Read More

Interesting soundtrack for Trier's "Dancer in the Dark" finds his star Bjork weeping and wailing her unique ways as usual over more orchestrated, but still familiar territory. Everything sounds good in a darkly whimsical and kooky sort of way, with typical electronic and vocal over-indulgences robbing most tracks of being completely spot-on, though the final track certainly ranks amongst her best work.

When I purchased this album I was expecting your average chill out cd but it was so much more than that. By the time you get to the track 'Single' you would've already melted and absorbed your soul into the cd. Great Investment

WOW!!! If you are the least bit spiritual then you will fall right into this CD with no problems at all, and if you are not, you will before you finish listening to this. The music spans the globe reflecting how other cultures express their spirituality and touches something way deep down inside and makes you think much deeper than the surface of things. It is the companion to the DVD and I can't imagine having one without the other.I play this CD contantly and it always brings me a sense of calm, and happiness yet with a touch of sadness, only because I wish everyone could listen and have a similar experience. If everyone listened to this music, I think our world would be a better place. Yes, simple as that.

This album is sick. I would rate it up there with Crystal Method's 'Vegas.' It's possibly even better. If you like trance, techno or even albums with sweet grooves and creativity, then buy it!

I'm going to buy this album, but I don't like the fact that it's overloaded with the singers - Telepop was looking for another "Breathe" hit - maybe they'll find it, but I'd rather hear the music by itself.

Outta Sound is an upgrade of the older stuff. It is more edgy and loud, more interesting. The past few albums are similar, yes, but with less tenacity. Those of you wanting the old NOW stick to the old NOW. This cosmopolitan revolution of George's music is catchy and could become more mainstream, which may be why those of you who have rated it low don't like it. It isn't what we are used to, but it's good to open one's mind and embrace change within ourselves and the music that catalyzes it. Give it another listen.
