It was great to hear the Tracy Lawrence was coming back. It was equally as nice to hear a little of his old stuff, but wished the cd had more new songs. Tracy sounds as good as ever with his rich voice, and true country style. There is no mistaking he is country. I hope he enjoys his come back and does some touring this year.

I'm not a devoted van morrison fan. This is Van Morrison being a country music star. I love it. It's pure country and pure van morrison. Sounds impossible but it really really works.

for those of you who don't recognize what is played on contemporary country music radio but who have fond memories of your parent's country music. You will appreciate this anthology. For me it brings back memories of childhood and provides a reference for the REAL country musicians of today that don't get the play they deserve. George Jones has a heartbreaking voice and his music is still relevant.

I think these were hit best songs. i know he is more popular now, but these songs are very well written. My favorite song is the one he did with Sting.

i had ordered this product on 12/02/07 and did not receive it until after 1/18/08. the order was placed early enough to be received (i believed) before christmas. in the meantime i noticed the same item for sale at the same price at wal-mart stores as a main display. because i was already committed to the order i was not able to cancel and make the wal-mart purchase in time as a christmas gift. otherwise the product is wonderful. stephen d. finch

I bought this years ago and wore it out in college... obviously you can see from all the reviews this is fabulous... good CD to buy to get a taste of DW. He rocks!!!!!!!!1

I purchased this album, based upon movie experiences.... I passed up House of 1,000 Corpses, many times, when I worked in a movie store, because the cover was freaky and the special packaging was gruesome. I never rented it. However, I watched The Devil's Rejects (Unrated Widescreen Edition), and loved the movie. A coworker explained that this was a "part two" of House of 1,000 Corpses, so I gave it a chance. I not only enjoyed the movies, but I must admit that thess are now some of my faves.
