I bought this CD long time ago before I got the chance to study shakuhachi with sensei Yoshizawa. I can listen to this music over and over and never get tired from listening. This is not just music, this is an experience! I highly recommend it!!

Out of the countless New Age CDs that I have heard over the years, this one has clinched one of the top spots for me for sure. There is some repetition of verses, but it does not reduce the albums impact. And it is a positive impact without a doubt. Singh Kaur has one of the sweetest clearest voices that I have ever heard in my entire life. Her contribution to this album cannot be overstated. It all gels as a highly beneficial audio tonic that can set you free. Alas, this is one of her last works, for she has passed. But not without leaving us with greatness to enjoy. Consider this album for your New Age collection. It is truly beautiful.

I love this CD. I bought it 10 years ago at an airport gift store before getting on a red-eye flight, and it helped me relax in my uncomfortable airplane seat. Since then, I have used it as a sleep aid when anxiety and stress interfere with my sleep. I rarely stay awake past the first two tracks.

I love this CD. I've heard it before (a friend of mine has it) and I really wanted my own copy. It's the pulse, the beat... it is mystic but I find it very easy to connect with it. Love to listen to it after a long day, brings me back to my body, makes me more present.

I teach fifth grade in California. Sometimes it's difficult for them to come back into the classroom after recess and get settled down, ready for the next lesson. I picked up on a term I heard on tv (which they all know about this term)and I use it to my advantage. They love it and look forward to coming in and "Ideate" (I - de - ate) When they come back into the classroom I have one of my disk on the player at a low volume and let them just "Ideate" for 3-5 minutes. The length of time varies depending on their state of excitement. They can chose where to Ideate. On a table, the floor is popular, just sitting at their desk with their heads-down, etc. Believe me it works. A teacher's blessing.

BEAUTY is a book worth owning and reading again and again. Sometimes it feels like a meditation, and sometimes a scholarly paper, drawing on art and poetry and music to explicate its theme. This CD is always playing at the place I get my massage. Whenever I walk into the salon, it's the first thing I hear and it instantly puts me in a nice relaxation state. Finally after several visits I asked the masseuse what CD it is, and she showed it to me. I had to purchase it right away. It is very soothing and relaxing and great for falling asleep to, just relaxing, or having in the background during the day while you're reading or doing other things.
