I have found Inner Sanctuary to be a wonderful tool to use with individuals who are beginning to use meditation as a part of his or her daily routine. Finding one's own inner sanctuary can literally be a life saving and life changing event. Today's world is fully of rush and chaos. Inner Sanctuary helps each of us find that inner peace we long for. Compilation cds are usually kind of corny because they're usually full of the same ole top 40 pop hits, but I was surprised at how enjoyable this one was. I recognized some songs and was enthralled with some new ones. It's moody and varied and features some great female talent. It's like a mixed cd one of my girlfriends might make me with a random shuffle of artists she has saved on her realplayer. I pop it into my car whenever I get sick of waiting for the radio to play something intelligible.

What an awesome collection of gorgeous flute music. Mary Youngblood stands out above the crowd of Native flute players to show us why she is the best, truly deserving to be the only artist to win TWO Native American Grammy awards. These are her best instrumental pieces and they are all unique and original. Sacred Place is peaceful, elegant and inspiring.

A friend was having trouble sleeping after the loss of her husband. I bought this recording for her, and she found that not only did she like listening to it when awake, but it relaxed her so she could sleep. Perfect for her needs.

The music on this CD is very well done. Some tracks stand out more than others musically. The best feature however on this CD is the mix. It is probably the most perfectly produced recorded and mixed nature and music CD I have ever heard. The nature sounds fit perfectly with the music and while there are many bird sounds, there are never those annoying bird crazy tracks to contend with. It has a very nice variety of nature sounds as well as musical styles, while still maintaining the same feeling throughout the entire CD. Track #1, Greensleeves, is an amazing mix of the original song and piano variations and trills. Highly recommended for nature sound lovers and piano fans who like piano and keyboard played with other instruments.

This is another very good Cd in the solitudes-series. The nature sounds are gorgeous and the music makes it the perfect relaxing background music to listen to. Do not use it to go to sleep because the wolves can give you bad dreams. Other than that is a Cd i can recommend buying.

After being in a clinic listening to grating music, I knew what I didn't want. It's much harder to find a collection of what you do want. I think this is gentle enough music that you could have playing all the time and not get tired of it. It's a continuous flow that helps you relax whether you're the person giving or receiving massage.

This collection of environmental/nature sounds has several good aspects and a few poor ones. This collection contains ten cd's. The good: Mostly relaxing and realistic during each hour of sounds per cd. The bad: Too many quawking and jarring bird sounds during some of the peaceful pieces. The "thunderstorm" cd was a major disappointment. It was barely audible. I would also have liked to hear more storm and wind sounds. All in all I give it a six.
