This disc contains a number of well-recorded bird songs...but it's the wrong number. The publisher created an incorrect index for this disc and it makes using it rather difficult. If you know what the birds sound like, it's a fine resource, but I haven't figured them all out and I must admit to being a bit frustrated. Perhaps this item should be recategorized under puzzles :-)

This music puts me in the mood for an amazing Yoga practice. I'm a Yoga teacher and I'm always looking for new music to use...I hit the bullseye with this one. My students love it as well. Great for relaxation and meditation.

My brother first introduced us to this music and I thank him for his excellent choice. Sometimes reviews give high marks to, in my opinion, rather drab formulaic "new age" strains. This one combines the angelic and the shamanic (the male "hey ya" tracks), the masculine and feminine presence, so this works well on several levels. Just one track I found a bit insipid. Otherwise, we have had it for 2 years and include it in clinical work sometimes. Listened to it continually for a while, gave it a rest, came back again, and it still had its purity and could lift the soul with its gentle presence. Very good for meditation, inner work and sealing friendship at dinner having it as background. Highly recommended.

The work of Dr. Jeffrey Thompson is brilliant. I have tried nearly ALL of the holosync, hemispheric entrainment works offered to the public through various centers, research communities, institutes, etc. and find that this CD and companion CDs that I purchased are beyond compare. Brilliant, effective, beautiful music, gentle entrainment. No banging gongs, endless rainstorms, naked tones, and other masking techniques with cheesy, amateurish music. Just quality all the way through. I totally recommend Dr. Thompson's work. It is unparalleled.

I own the rest of this dog and cat CD/DVD series so thought I would get this CD as well. It was not disappointing. Once again, beautiful Christmas music and stories. Play this for both my cats and dog but will work for either. Going to get a few for my friends for Christmas. Such a cute idea and something unique for a change.
