Okay , let me start off by saying the music is great ! The Move are one of rock's most overlooked and under-appreciated bands. This box does a great job of locating 31 previously unreleased tracks , and presenting everything in great digitally remastered sound. Remember , this stuff is 36-43 years old ! So , for the MUSIC..this is a must own. BUT : Once again , a record company taking advantage of the fans that would be interested in this MUSIC. What we have here is another multi-disc set that could have fit (easily) on less discs , and , in theory , be less expensive. 206 minutes and 28 seconds on 4 discs???? Magical Mystery Tour Memories This newly produced hour long documentary on the making of the Beatle's third film - "Magical Mystery Tour" - can be highly recommended to TRUE Beatles fans who want ALL the inside info. (These are the folks who covet every CD made of news conference interviews with the Fab Four). For those who remember seeing the film once, or have never seen it at all, it's worth an hour to watch, though references made by the interviewees won't mean much. Show on high quality video, the documentary is "hosted" by Victor Spinetti, the British actor who appeared in all three Beatles films. He is personable. I think that small amount of reviewers who gave this one star were on drugs........BAD drugs!!! I'm a drummer and while Buddy Miles may have not been Buddy Rich he certainly didn't deserve to be called a "bad drummer." And I'm a real sucker for a Hammond B-3 organ.....the very first note I heard of it and I was hooked. And the jams? INCREDIBLE!!! I was in high school when this album was recorded and wish I had been as fortunate as several of the reviewers were to see in person. Bad reviewers get the wax out of your ears.......you're not hearing properly!

This was the last concert of Yes's 35th anniversary tour in 2004, featuring the "classic" Yes lineup. As befits such an event, the concert is largely a nostalgia exercise with Yes performing a sampling of their brilliant music from each decade starting in the 60s right up to the present decade. The performance of "Ritual" is especially striking. Definitely a must for Yes fans. Others may prefer the more serious and focused Live at Montreux concert DVD from 2003.

Paid [$] for 10 cd's which I consider "about average" - not really a great deal, but I thought if they were all re-done ("digitally re-mastered" is what I believe the infomercial stated), they would sound great.PROBLEM - From one song to the next, there is significant change in VOLUME; one song will be loud, the next you can barely hear, the next one loud again. There are alot of great songs from this era that were not on the cd's & MANY filler songs I had never even heard of. Others were not by the original artists! Why waste the space?- The T.V. ad is VERY misleading! From this entire collection, I only found 71 songs that I liked from the late 60s to early 70s. This DVD is filled with a bunch of hanger-on, acquaintances and people who actually there being interview, giving their opinions, observations and stories about Jimi Hendrix. Gets real boring after a few minutes. The live portion is a step above a bootleg in visual quality. The sound is not bad, but the live CD is better. Would only recommend this to hard core Hendrix fans.

3 1/2 This was the first CD I ever purchased and revisiting it reminds me of what a treat some of this soundtrack was. The first half especially shines, offering mostly unreleased or rare tracks of good quality. Once Rollins band kicks off though the steady stream of metal recedes into more generic alternative and industrial territory, though the album ends on a mellow female vibe. The disc is well-rounded and has enough good songs by reputable, diverse alternative groups to seek out, but a weaker second side prevents this soundtrack from becoming truly great.

Excellent live recording, with outstanding vocal performances. The mix does seem a bit skewed, with the instrumentation buried way down deep, although with singing this good it seems almost churlish to quibble (compare with the often ropey-as-hell vocals on Sweeping Up the Spotlight). The overall performance is tight and focused (even if the sound isn't as crisp as you'd like), and the concluding 25-minute jam with Jerry Garcia is rambling, exhiliarating magic.

Relesed in August of 1967 this would be the first and last album feautring Syd Barrett before he got too crazed on LSD. By this time they had realesed 2 other singles(4 songs), Arnold Layne, Candy And A Currant Bun, See Emily Play, and Scarecrow all of which are now availible on the new version of this album. Some key tracks are, Astronomy Dominee, Interstellar Overdrive, Bike etc. All songs are really great and this album should be owned by all pink floyd fans but in the meantime maybe get some songs like, Scream Thy Last Scream, Vegtable Man, Reaction in G, One In A Million etc. The two live albums Starclub Psycho Live In Rotterdam 1967 two cds you should get also 5/5 stars get those songs and you'll have the perfect syd barrett collection and or pink floyd 67 stuff 5/5 stars

Their hits were too few. Unless you really like the group I would suggest other music. It was a disappointment for me.
