I love this CD. It brings the movie back to my mind everytime I hear it. The CD tells the story, so if you saw the movie you can simply close your eyes and see it all over again.

I'd heard the arguments both for and against "Wicked" (people love it or hate) so thought I'd have a listen. I really enjoyed it. So really great songs (and some fun ones too) as well as great singing. Even as I was listening to it for the first time I wanted to sing along!

Really enjoyed it!

I love everything about this limited edition soundtrack... the stunning color pictures on the front and insides of it, the accompanying booklet, and the three reversible trading cards that come along, too.

And of course, let's not forget the music.

This soundtrack is even better than that of Batman Begins. We have many of the same heroic themes that we have come to associate with Batman due to the previous film's soundtrack, but at the same time they are accompanied by completely new themes for the completely new characters.

For example, the most important newcomer to this movie: The Joker. The very first track "Why So Serious?" is his theme song, if it can even be called a song. It is as unpredictable and crazy as he is, and when you listen to it you really feel ... Read More

I hated this film. However I did love the soundtrack very much. It's far better than 'Begins', and I found it very epic and majestic.

6.Across The Universe [Deluxe Edition] by: Original Soundtrack

Average Rating: out of 5 stars

Music : Across The Universe [Deluxe Edition]
This deluxe edition is not the original movie soundtrack, but "Music from the Original Motion Picture" and missing a few songs to boot. The original songs are so much full of passion as they were recorded during the acting. I was very disappointed in this CD.

My kids enjoy listening and dancing to the music, and I don't mind listening to it in the car either! Beats Dora, or a lot of other "kid" music.

I found the Clone Wars Soundtrack to be a refreshing twist to an iconic storyline. I love John Williams, but this soundtrack was fun and fit the style of the movie and the upcoming series. If you are true fan of Star Wars, (like me, a 45 year old former Green Beret/Geek), then this is one you need to add to your collections. Trust me, it is a good score.

I purchased the first CD release of this soundtrack and it was awful. Tape hiss was so bad, and echo was there from RCA using the album master instead of the original master tapes. Now, after hearing this version, RCA has obviously gone to great care to make this soundtrack sound brilliant and as good as I thought it should always sound. RCA's living stereo recordings were superb and that is exactly what we get here! They have eliminated all of the voice echo, the orchestra sounds full, and the master tapes for the soundtrack album are in better shape...sounding better than the tracks on the film (DVD) do.

You get the original soundtrack recording, plus many of the recordings from the 6-track magnetic music masters used for the film. The RCA soundtrack recording selections, in my opinion, survived better than ... Read More

I will watch or listen to anything with Gerard Butler! Of course The Phantom of the Opera is wonderful, but I love the soundtrack and movie to hear him. I even watched 300 just to see the body. Listen to this all the time.
