As a long time listener of Harry Connick, Jr., one of my favorite Holiday-related album (and laserdisc) that I purchased was from Harry Connick, Jr. back in 1993 with "When My Heart Finds Christmas". Fifteen years later, I still listen to the album a lot and although Harry released a sophomore Holiday album in 2003 with "Harry for the Holidays", it didn't capture the same magic as the first album but still enjoyable. Willie's collaborations don't always appeal to me, but this one does. It's a great blend of musicians, and a joy to listen to. A real hit.

Ever since I read a synopsis of her life and music career in the newspaper a year ago, I was intrigued. I went to see her in a small local theater, and since then I was hooked. She mixes African and Spanish rythms with jazz and Latin beats to create an amazing sound. Her voice is captivating and penetrating. She portrays herself through her music.

I really enjoy this recording. Make sure you get the original soundtrack recording of the CBS television special like this one is. There are other recordings out there that don't sound as good as the original.

all the best of Frank, at least main stream Frank. No real early stuff, and no real late stuff. Productions have been cleaned and beefed up and balanced. Great booklet inside with lots of historical info. Also comes with a first edition "Frank" stamp from Las Vegas P.O. There have been many compilations, but none in one disc that is this complete and sound is up to today's standards. Some digital preciseness, but mostly just Frank et al as if he recorded today! A must for all fans and casual fans. If someone does not know why he was the Chairman of the Board, or hasn't really listened to Frank and orchestra with a great sound sys and some volume, give this a listen and you will be convinced.
