Wonderful CD if you loved the musical or the movie; Meryl Streep is a particularly fine singer, and all the tracks carry the easy gaiety of the show. A clarification (that I was looking for when purchasing) is that these are indeed the songs from the show/movie itself, NOT the original ABBA songs (not to be missed either).

Great album - the best of Abba...would highly recommend it for all long-time Abba fans, as well as more recently, fans of the Mamma Mia movie.

I absolutely love this CD and have played it many times. I thoroughly enjoyed the music. I also have the soundtrack from the movie, but this CD is much better. This one also includes "Thank you for the music" as a separate piece. And that is my favorite from the whole play. That particular song was just sung during the credits in the movie and it's not even listed on the play list, so you really can't access it separately. It's just part of the last song, "I have a dream" on the movie CD. And there is a very long pause before you even get to it on the movie version. You could miss it if you didn't know it was there. It was worth buying the Broadway sound track for that song alone.

Though they became the butt of many jokes, Abba really produced some good, cheery songs, well worth your attention. I discovered them somewhat by accident all these years later, hearing a couple of their tunes on satellite radio, and decided to splurge a bit on the CD. Well worth it.

My first introduction to Lykke Li was through a friend via a youtube video for her song "Little Bit." I admit that I was hooked. The video was different in a good way and her voice was unique: soft, innocent and a little bluesy. Her sound is eclectic ranging from dance to indie to electro to blues. There's no other way to describe it. A very melodic album. I can't wait to see what else she has up her sleeve. All in all, a breath of fresh air in all the pollution streaming through the radio these days.

THE ABBA CD TITLED NUMBER 1 IS REALLY AWESOME. I WAS SHOPPING AND HEARD THIS COMPUTERED GENERATED MUSIC, AND THE SONG FERNANDO WAS PLAYING AND THERE'S SOMETHING ABOUT THE RYTHEM THAT GET'S TOO YOU' AWESOME CD.

I used to have the DVD and thought the PQ was fine on my HD TV. But I sold the DVD and bought this blu-ray because I wanted to have and enjoy the best ABBA. You know what? This blu-ray is da bomb in PQ and AQ. Huge improvement! You will enjoy every single bit of each member of ABBA in such detail. The design of main menu and extras, which I believe were re-designed for blu-ray, is beautiful and creative. The each image of gallery of the movie posters looks so sharp and clean in HD. I'm happy I got this blu-ray. I just hope "all" ABBA's previous video materials will be released in blu-ray as well...very soon. P.S. On the cover, it says the vision is in 1080i but actually 1080p.

Great DVD, played it at my 60th birthday party, everyone loved it. We danced for hours to it, even those who were too young to remember Abba enjoyed it. Would definitely recommend this DVD.

About half the tracks are good to really good, but the rest are pretty weak. I'd definitely recommend the CD as there's enough good stuff to make it worth it. I'd give "Young Folks" and "The Chills" 5-stars so base my opinion on that.
