I had heard some of Alison's music on the radio but hadn't sought out her specifically. One night I watched her and the band perform on our local PBS station. The next day I ordered this CD and was delighted to find it was the same performance I had seen the night before. A new favorite.

was very happy with it. Bought it used, but it played like brand new.

Great musicianship and they really groove from beginning to end. Never listened to or bought anything like this before, but after hearing a song or two on a jam station I just had to try it out. Very cool.

I had heard some Bela Fleck at a friends house, playing in the background as we played cards. Not even sure what the album was, but I like the banjo and what I heard was pretty darn good. I bought this thinking it was a 2-disk collection of more banjo, after listening to both CD's several times, I've put the disks on that special shelf with all the other stuff I will never listen to again. Too much "improv" - apparently to show the listeners just how good they are with their instruments. Can't dispute that; all of the musicians are at the top of their game, their competence is without question, but there is not a single "tune" on either of these CD's that I found the least bit interesting. My casstte of OLD AND IN THE WAY self destructed and I had to replace it. This is what I found after searching. The playlist isn't in the same order and there are a few extra tunes but boy was it good to get this back again. Vassar Clemens and Jerry Garcia never sounded better.

This is a wonderful CD, & the bonus video is also fun. The music is truly amazing, although it is not the type of disc I will keep in frequent rotation. I'm certainly glad I own it, and I play it on my iTunes lists.

This Live Cd featuring The String Cheese Incident is incredible. The Jams are amazing and it truly showcases how The String Cheese Incident can WAIL. If your a String Cheese fan or a Jam Band fan I highly recommend this Cd.

I've had the Columbia LP for years and it has to be one of the best live bluegrass recordings available, even though it includes only a fraction of the concert. It's an absolute "must have" for any student of Scruggs. This CD contains the complete 1962 concert and it's absolutely tremendous. It includes all of Lester Flatt's intros and his low-key humor. If you're a fan of Flatt & Scruggs, you gotta have this CD.

Great sound, especially for a live performance. Too bad they couldn't have stayed together longer.
