Love Queen. When I was in high school, our them song was Another One Bites the Dust and it takes me back every time I listen to it. Great CD

I won't deny that AC/DC's latest offering, "Black Ice," is nothing more than their standard, straight ahead, gritty, grubby hard rock. But would you expect anything else from these guys? While many hard rock bands that ruled throughout the late 70's/80's modified their sound in an attempt to save their waning careers once the 90's hit, AC/DC was content with sticking to what they did best, which was provide simple, fun hard rock tunes to the masses. It's a formula that's worked well for them so far.

It's been almost a decade since the Young brothers and their compadres released an album, and "Black Ice" is a welcome piece of rock in a time when bands like Nickelback, Puddle of Mudd and others rule the airwaves. Now that's nothing personal against those bands. I like many of ... Read More

Music : Black Ice (Deluxe Edition)
This isn't rocket science. They aren't trying to create the next great masterpiece. After 30 years of listening to AC/DC, I know what to expect with each release; AC/DC sounding like....AC/DC. There's no mystery here. They aren't fixing what's not broken.

If you want to stomp your feet and just listen to fun rock and roll, AC/DC is your band. If you want to hear Metallica out-do their last album, they are your band. And I like them, too.

I love this album. I knew what I was getting when I bought it. If you are still buying AC/DC after all these years and are surprised and ticked off at what you got, then you need to stop supporting them and quit complaining.

In the meantime, my feet are stomping as I type this to a great, fun new album by AC/DC. Rock on, guys, ... Read More

After listening to Tesla's previous studio album, "Into The Now", a few years ago when it came out, I was incredibly impressed. Saw them Live and was impressed even more. Now, after the release of "Forever More", that feeling is back and then some.

Overall an excellent hard rock album with great song writing (both lyrically and musically). The riffs are nice and heavy, the solos are present in every song, the production is clean, the drumming is also very well done. There are probably too many great tracks on this one to list the strong points, but for me personally the obvious highlights are:

Forever More - classic Tesla, with cool guitar work and great melodies. Nice and dark.
Breaking Free - my favorite track on the album. Awesome lyrics, great guitar solo, overall such ... Read More

This is another Greatest Hits package I have picked up to fill in for missing/lost CDs.

It has all the hits that I remember from the Pyromania and Hysteria when Def Leppard was their most popular. I know they had a couple of records before then, but I never really listened to the band until I saw Photograph on MTV.

Bringin On The Heartbreak is a real good song from an album before they became famous with Photograph.

This disk is finally a release of what must be one of the top Queen live shows. Just the four of them, at the top of their fame and strength. Together with the Queen on Fire, this is a must have for any fan.

Freddie's voice is strong, amazing, no shortcuts, no compromises. The band just clicks together. Some beautiful performances here.

The video is very good given the age of the material, too bad more footage was not preserved to re-cut the show. Audio is flawless.

Commentary is entertaining, although best watched as subtitles (available in several languages), since the music is very quiet between the comments which are rather sparse.

Great show, probably the best live concert disk in my collection.

'Saints of Los Angeles' is definitely Motley Crue's strongest effort to date (next to the self-titled album) but also encompasses some of the spirit of the old & perhaps the Crue most fans want via 'Dr. Feelgood'/'Girls Girls Girls.' Truly a great balance of bringing the old Crue with a new & heavy direction, not to mention the production is the best of any Motley album & the band has never sounded tighter. Cheers boys!

Disc one is amazing! It has 11 of my favorite Def Leppard songs. The rest are still pretty good. But Disc two...not so much. Actually there are only 2 good songs and the rest stink. But even with that in mind, I really recommend this collection for the first disc.

Ziggy is simply fantastic. It is a brilliant album.

1: Five Years-The opener is one of the best songs on the album, I love how easy this song is to sing along to

2: Soul Love-Another great song about diferrent types of love.

3: Moonage Daydream- Honestly, I hate this song. Its good, just when I first listened to this song, it was on a youtube video from a live concert in 1973. That version was six mintues long, with a face melting solo by Ronson. ( You can still see the video, type search on youtube for Moonage Daydream, HAMMERSMITH 73)

4.Starman- The albums single, very good song

5.It aint easy- Really loud!

6.Lady Stardust- Nice piano work, great vocals

7-Star-Really fast, One of the weaker tracks

8-Hang on ... Read More
