This is my 2nd favorite CD in 2008 (#1 is Cosmic Gate - Back 2 Back 3). The CD1 track 1&2 combo are my favorite tracks right now (basically track 2 but #1 is a nice intro to it). Good stuff. CD 1 - 5 stars CD 2 - 4 stars Nice progressive trance going on here. Good beats and tempo changes. Check out Markus Schulz - Amsterdam08 for more good tunes.

Well this offering starts of strong but has a few slow moments particularly the ballads were hard to get into. I had been recommended this from Amazon although I really have not been following this group consistently. I am familiar with some of their popular tunes. I agree with the reviewer who stated more instruments/instrumentals would have made the CD more lively. Step Aside really got the joint of to a good start.

I'm convinced that when Steve Helstrip did Vol. 1, his intention was to shake up the global Trance scene and leave the biggest mark possible. Not only did he do that, but he's also been building up steam and getting better with each NightMusic release that followed. Even the album art of all three are as great as the music inside. This one has even more of the sound that I've always been into (especially that PVD-esque beat-skip in Miracle Cure at the 2:55 point). To me it's one of the best Trance compilations I've ever picked up. He better be one of the top-ranked Trance producers if the fans know what's good for them. ..Can't wait to see what Vol. 4 is gonna be like...

Whenever most audiophiles refer to Moby's crowning career achievement, most will mention his 1999 breakout album, Play. The creativity and originality of Play was a shining moment in the electronica genre, but unfortunately, Moby's creative light has fizzled in his latest offering, Last Night. With his last album (Hotel) being less than stellar, Moby fans were forced to wait three years to see if he could musically reconcile with his loyal following. However, much to the chagrin of this reviewer, Last Night was a deplorable effort from an artist who was once electronica royalty. I was introduced to this CD by my cousin Chike (who is aware that I love experimenting musically), and I love it! The Gotan Project (Gotan is a reversal of the syllables in the word Tango) comprises a multinational trio, and their style is Jazzy Electro Tango (well, that's how I describe it), largely instrumental, with a few vocals usually spoken and in Spanish. However, an understanding of Spanish isn't necesary to appreciate this calming, beautiful music. Yes, it does sound like what you'd hear in the background at some swanky lounge or bar (like the Amazon review mentions), but it's one that would have you asking the waiter "Who plays that?". this is a great album; has amazing vocals, great chords/piano melodies, but don't get confused this is not a hard beat trance album, not as anjunabeats or tristate. This is an album great for an 6am chill moment, a nice pre-party or a relaxing moment. But if you are a DJ you can remix this tracks into great trance/technno songs, as A&B do in their live sets. Also you can find in the web remixes of these songs that are amazing. Great relaxing album overall

OK, this (in my opinion) is the best Daft Punk album I've ever heard! It's a must buy for all of you Daft Punk fans!

when I saw this album I tough it was going to be amazing, cause CREAMFIELD + PVD should be great. But I have to say that this is a very mediocre album, I think that probably PVD did not pick the songs. CD 1, is not trance, is not electro is regular house/techno you can hear in your local club, CD 2 is a little bit of trance but not close to politics of dancing I think PVD made a favor to a friend or something, is far from all others PVD albums. Before you buy it try to listen some way somehow.

I have been listening to the Hed Kandi UK labels and I love those albums. I just got my Hed Kandi US today in the mail and without skipping a beat I through the disk in the player at work and I find myself head bobbin, foot stompin, rockin away to some funky tunes. People are always in my office asking what kind of music am I listening to, and I tell them "Hed Kandi"
