I enjoyed this cd more than "The Greatest Hits" album because most of these songs are not marred by audience clapping. Much better selection, also. Shipping was very timely.

I really liked this 2 cd collection because it contains one cd with modern contemporary music and one cd with the older classics. So depending on your mood or the people you are with, there is something to please everyone. In my opinion, it was worth the purchase.

When I first bought this CD I knew that I would be pleased, in which I was. Come to think of it, there were quite a few songs that became newly favorites of mine, such as "Honey, Honey", "Angel eyes", "Under Attack", and "Thank you for the music" are very good. I thought ABBA Gold was inspirational, but this CD is impressive. From what I've learned the name of ABBA actually comes from the singers first initials themselves. As in the following: Anni-Frid Benny Bjorn Agnetha I recommend this album and music group to anyone, especially to those who are seeking good and decent music.

Having given up all my "records" from the 50's and 60's, I was delighted to find that the best of The Carpenters was available on audio CD. Thank you to the person who is putting oldies but goodies on CD.

As a child, I grew up with this movie. I still have an old VHS copy, although the first viewing I can remember came on Public Broadcasting. Harry Nilsson's "The Point" frequently takes me back to my younger years, sitting with my mother on the couch and loving the tale of Oblio and Arrow seeking true meaning in a world in which they have become outcasts. While the animation pales into comparison to today's slick digital tomes, I almost prefer the point because you can see the artistic vision coming through in all of its watercolor beauty. Some of the images also are a bit dated, but the impact is not lost. For anyone who claims to be a fan of Nilsson's, this is a must have. For anyone who enjoys a simple, modern fairy tale, this is a good buy.

This CD of long ago music was exactly what I expected. Transports me back to a more carefree time. AND I remember all the words! Great accoompaniment for a long car ride.

I absolutely loved this - having grown up during the Four Tops heyday, this brought back so many memories of the era, their music, everything. I was glued throughout. The footage is wonderful, the concerts and tv shows were really great to watch. What a privilege it must have been to be the interviewer! Abdul Duke Fakir was wonderful and so obviously deeply touched in telling his story. The accapela addition is great. If you're a fan or just want to hear a great story and listen to music at it's finest, don't miss this DVD.
