Okay, here is my song-by-song review and the whole album review: 1. P!nk- So What Grade: A Original Position: Now 29 Comment: A very explosive start to this whole album, so rock! 2. Katy Perry- Hot N Cold Grade: A- Original Position: Now 29 Comment: She sings great in this song. But, I never heard of her. Alright, nice to meet you! You did great. 3. Pussycat Dolls- When I Grow Up Grade: B- Original Position: Now 29 Comment: This song is a bit off. But, it is good overall. I think it's okay but there are rooms for improvement. 4. This CD was a good idea, but fails because of some songs that just aren't very interesting (St. Elmos's - who wants to hear that again?) And American Idol runner up (it's worst year) Katharine McPhee is less talented than most lounge singers. To hear and watch her sing with Andrea is just awful. It sounds and looks like a master singer is teaching a freshman college student who has big dreams of being a singer. I think Foster just lets her sing for him because he likes the way she looks and he thinks it makes him look desirable to be around young, good looking women. He has such great talent - I would like to see another CD/DVD with more objective thought into who sings and what songs are on the recording. Better luck next time, but loose the bimbos!

This is all the definition of "real music"! Real music is the stuff they air on MTV, which is why this CD rules so much. Not one bad song on it! One of the best CDs I've ever heard.

As a long-time now fan, I was confused by reading the tracklisting for a CD called "The Best of Now" that featured 12 songs that never appeared on a "Now" album before (or never appeared in this version). I was equally surprised to see two of the artists' names: "Maroon 5" and "Amy Winehouse," who never even appeared with any song on a Now album before. That being said, I enjoyed the collection. Three of the first four tracks--"I Kissed a Girl" by Katy Perry, "Umbrella" by Rihanna, and "Stronger" by Kanye West--are probably my favorites by their respective artists, even though they were all missed by the Now series originally. I was also pleased to find Now showing respect to past superstars--the Backstreet Boys and Justin Timberlake (from N'Sync) are pop icons and pioneers of the Now series. ... Read More

i bought this item for someone else hes had it before. i enjoyed it myself once i had heard it. very good cd, even had wolfman jack.

The high points of this collection definitely puts it into the must buy category of any 60's music afficianado. They are The Scot Richard Case (early SRC)recordings of not one but 2! Pretty Things covers plus a version of I'm So Glad which easily equals The Cream. Their original song Who is That Girl and cover of The Who's Cobwebs and Strange are great also. The 2 MC5 recordings sound better than ever especially the fabulous Borderline.Iggy Pop lays down the blueprint for his fine singing voice which we all know and love on I'm a Man. But the "Big" find has to be a group called Half-Life whose song Get Down actually gives the MC5 a run for their money (Please! there has to be a full album by these guys somewhere). ...when you think of all the great songs and bands heard on Season 1.I'm totally hooked on the show and have it on DVD,so I had to buy the CD just for the sake of having it.But it feels like someting's missing.12 Tracks isn't enough at all when you think that the OMFGG version sold on Itunes contains 15 (what happened?!...).And most of the tracks aren't the key ones of the season to.Not a single song from the pilot is on the CD as there should have been one,aside from "hard to live in the city","the gift" or "bounce with me" for example.Maybe number 2 will be as good as the one from the O.C,but don't let us wait too long please... 1) "sour cherry" isn't my favorite from the CD or THE KILLS but it's a good choice for the opening. 4/5 2) "do you wanna" is one the best KOOKS song and it totally stick with ...
