What can I say that hasn't already been said about this album? Probably not much but I'll throw my 2 cents into the mix anyways. Although the musical talent of each member is absolutely bursting from all angles from start to finish, it was really Brandon's lyrical stylings that made this one of my favorite albums, and Incubus one of the most socially conscious bands of all time. I read review after review and I'm amazed at the number of people who don't really "get" what the lyrics pertain to. If you don't, I'd start figuring them out ASAP. It's hard to describe what kind of impact this album had on me... I still get chills. Absolutely unbelievable.

I love RHCP and I was disappointed after finding out that there weren't a lot of tracks on this cd and that a lot of the songs were the slower ones. They are a great, diverse band with lots of different types of songs and I think this CD did not do the diversity a favor.

Alright, so you've probably heard a lot about this album and this band but I think this album and the band deserve so much credit. If you haven't really listened to anything off this album yet, I'm going to convince you to. Read on. This amazing album has two disks: Jupiter and Mars; both fantastic. Its sound is way different than previous RHCP albums but still keeps they're original style and flair. With crazy bass lines from bassist Flea and funky guitar rifts from guitarist John Frusciante, this album is packed with creativity and has something for everyone. Drums are always great too when you got Chad Smith on them; one of the few guys in rock music these days that keeps a smile on his face. this is the most beautifull cd from red hot chili peppers! this is a good cd to listen everyday and won't get tired of it! I recomended it!

How can this not get five stars from someone? It takes many, many listens and all the songs grow on you at their own rates. My favorites are the title track, Universally Speaking, Dosed, The Zephyr Song, Cabron, On Mercury, Minor thing, and Venice Queeen, which are all essential. This group has taken it upon themselves to get our generation out of the shadows of the Beatles the Doors, and Hendrix. Fortunately, they are succeeding. Stadium Arcadium is also very good.

In my opinion, this CD has some of the best songs Sublime ever recorded. It is a must-have for any Sublime fan!

Incubus is new to me. I am exploring their sound and continue to find reasons to continue. This cd is intelligent, as well as inspiring. Very very talented band.
