Prior to receiving this CD, I was only minimally aware of Il Divo, the princes of popera. I had seen them on television several times, and knew that they had amazing voices and harmonies. When I first listened to this, I was blown away. These songs truly showcase Il Divo's incredible harmonies. The instrumentals are expertly arranged. The melodies are deceptively simple, yet compelling. Each song is full of pleasant surprises in harmonies, melodies and dynamics. If you listen, and emerge yourself in the music, you will not only be interested, you will also be lost in the music. With the exception of Amazing Grace, the songs are in Spanish. Josh Groban's beautiful rendiction of familiar, beloved Carols is a reminder of God's love for mankind. Secular songs bring reminders of Christmases past. "I'll Be Home for Christmas" is especialy touching as it features the voices of servicemen and women far from home in service to their country. I was given Josh's "Noel" as a Christmas gift in 2007. I enjoyed it so much that I gifted a friend with "Noel" early this season so she can enjoy throughout the holidays. I enjoy listening all year!

This album is amazing! I loved every song on the first try. I've had this CD since the debut and heard it constantly, but I'm still not sick of it! Usually it takes me a while to like a whole album and if I did, I'd get sick of it within a few weeks. I'm still not sick of the song "Crush" and it's been out for months! All his songs are pretty catchy. Not only are these songs great, but I think it's AMAZING because of his vocals. His pure voice is rare and beautiful. Yes, this album is focused more of the teens/younger crowd, but I think there's at least one song that anyone can enjoy. This album has a variety of pop songs (not only focused on one type of pop). If you like Bocelli. You will love this. It is the same feel of most of his albums. Just more great singing and great mood setting. He is so talented it is wonderful to blast his voice in your car. It really transports you to a better place.

Ok. I understand that this is a Christmas album, for family (maybe?). What I do not understand is why is Peanut censored on track 5 "Song for Jeff" at the very end when Peanut says Jeff is his B!TCH. Very disappointing. If this cd was going to be censored it should have been label so. Otherwise a great cd which is fun to listen to over and over again.

This is an outstanding CD! Faith has the most beautiful strong voice for all the songs on this CD. Not a bad song on the CD. I just wish there would have been even more songs. I'm already hoping she makes another Christmas CD next year. A must have! 5 Shining Stars!!*****

I didn't think I was going to be able to enjoy this CD, but after a few listens I was hooked! She does a magical xmas CD like no one else, it's brilliant and different from anything I have ever heard before, including her previous records. Definitely worth buying.

What A Night! A Christmas Album is yet another fine album from the multitalented Harry Connick, Jr. Harry is at his best here. Although the track set isn't completely original, Harry Connick, Jr. keeps it interesting and very entertaining with his excellent arrangements. He pulls this one off very well; even if it isn't his first Christmas album it all sounds fresh and exciting. "It's The Most Wonderful Time Of The Year" features Harry singing flawlessly; and the jazzy arrangement enhances the natural beauty of this ballad. Jazz aficionados will enjoy this twist on a classic Christmas tune. There is nothing this woman can put out that I won't buy. This CD was incredible, as is everything she does. The best part for me was being able to download the music while I waited for the CD to come in the mail! I enjoyed the traditional mixed with the unique. I don't normally go for Christmas/Holiday music (too commercial), but I was NOT disappointed in this compilation. Definately BUY!
