I recieved this DVD for my birthday and I was completely blown away. I have seen the Flaming Lips in concert, but this was WAY better. I loved how they mixed interviews and backstage footage with live footage. How could I have missed this amazing concert? I HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend this DVD to any FLips fan, or just anyone who wants to see the greatest concert on the planet made possible by the greatest band on the planet.

I wish amazon would learn to properly distinguish the difference between a dvd audio disc and a dts cd. This is a dts cd, not a dvd audio disc. The surround mix on this CD is terrible. I prefer the original versions. Sadly they do not include a stereo version on this disc.

First off, Supernatural is not just a Santana record. It's more of a mix between Santana, his band, his collaborators and sometimes the producers. It's really a great sounding record all around, and despite it's mainstream trappings, I found pretty much all the songs good (not awesome or great, mind you). I'll tackle the album in it's two different faces: The more traditional (though this one is far from the traditional Latin music it seems) songs (give or take), or the less traditional, latin-pop songs. Santana and his band of percussion instruments, horns, keyboards, the works are probably the best, and Carlos Santana makes his guitar sing and never wastes a note. My friend lent me this DVD a few months ago and it's the reason why I am now a huge Rufus fan, have bought all his CDs, DVDs and have seen him live twice. The All I Want DVD gives you a great overview of Rufus' music, his live shows, background and charming personality.

Great album and a treat to hear it in High Res surround. The mixes (or the mastering) aren't as good as the originals but far more dynamic for the Res and surround. I hope this formats survives the low res movement!

This was a great CD originally. Now it's amazing to hear again in 5.1 surround. DVD Audio is great - I hope it lasts! Go High Res Audio.

A couple of weeks ago a guy at my work was playing Endless Summer and It was nice to hear the Beach Boys again. Growing up my dad always played the Boys while working in the garage or while cleaning the house. After listening further I decided to get some of the albums on CD for myself. I talked with my dad first to see if he had them which he does not. He does however have all of the LPs, and I made him swear that they are mine when he passes. I asked him what was his favorite and he told me Pet Sounds. I remember him playing it a bunch as a kid as well as Smiley Smile and a few others. In my opinion this is the definitive live album from the greatest rock band of all time. I would say this is Zeppelin in their prime, but after seeing footage of their 02 Arena reunion in December '07 it appears that they've never left their prime. Needless to say, this collection is fantastic from beginning to end. From the extended guitar solo on the Immigrant Song to the extended jam on Whole lotta love, this album delivers. If you want Zeppelin baby then you've got it!
