I have not ever disliked a cd from Enya and I am glad this one proves it again. While Enya may not be for everyone due to the wonderful relaxing, emotional, and sometimes spirit lifting tones mixed with beautiful lyrics and a voice that is unique I feel that this cd is an exception and everyone should at least listen to it at least one time. I am not one for classic holiday music since it is overdone to death and this is not what you would consider classic but in its own right it will become a classic at least in my collection. A beautiful mix of music for background or just to listen to that will hopefully bring you and your family or loved ones into a loving holiday spirit. Happy Holidays.

Prior to receiving this CD, I was only minimally aware of Il Divo, the princes of popera. I had seen them on television several times, and knew that they had amazing voices and harmonies. When I first listened to this, I was blown away. These songs truly showcase Il Divo's incredible harmonies. The instrumentals are expertly arranged. The melodies are deceptively simple, yet compelling. Each song is full of pleasant surprises in harmonies, melodies and dynamics. If you listen, and emerge yourself in the music, you will not only be interested, you will also be lost in the music. With the exception of Amazing Grace, the songs are in Spanish. Basically I really like this album. It is a typical Nickelback album, it has your anti-junkie song, stripper song and a few sex songs. The thing about it though, is that the driving music keeps you into every song. I'm sure there are, at least, six top ten singles here. I just hope they will continue to hold my interest with the same formula. All in all a good album.

If you like Bocelli. You will love this. It is the same feel of most of his albums. Just more great singing and great mood setting. He is so talented it is wonderful to blast his voice in your car. It really transports you to a better place.

I agree with ' R. Spradley "RS"' completely. this album is just boring. It lacks the Dido 'Hook'. Nothing sticks out here. Cant believe it took nine years for this. Come on Dido, you know how to right a hook, we KNOW you do. :)

There is nothing this woman can put out that I won't buy. This CD was incredible, as is everything she does. The best part for me was being able to download the music while I waited for the CD to come in the mail! I enjoyed the traditional mixed with the unique. I don't normally go for Christmas/Holiday music (too commercial), but I was NOT disappointed in this compilation. Definately BUY!

Il Divo's "The Promise" I found to be the most soothing and uplifting music for my ears! I loved "The Power of Love" and "Hallelujah" even though most of the songs on "The Promise" are in Spanish it was still very beautiful to listen to. On the deluxe edition of "The Promise" you can pop the cd into your DVD player for three special features! If your a fan of any kind of opera you will love this very talented operatic quartet! The Christmas Collection by Il Divo is a collection of the most popular Christmas songs all sung in perfect harmony, simply beautiful and moving! My favorites were "O Holy Night", "White Christmas" and "Silent Night". Their beautiful vocals will instantly put you in a joyful mood this Holiday Season!

Kilburn is a good show. But as previously noted it is a little sloppy, and Pete needs to be much further up in the mix. I don't mind sloppy, hey it's rock and roll. But the boys sound a little lethargic. (Especially when compared to the 69 show.) Pete is jumping around and dancing and windmilling like a madman, but the musical energy to back up the antics is just not there for good portions of the show. Keith is fine, but he does a lot of mugging for the camera, and I think his playing at the 69 show is far superior to Kilburn. I'm sure a lot of fans will disagree, but I am just not as amped up about this show as other reviews. The Coliseum show from 1969 is another matter. This band completely lost focus since X&Y. All in all I feel that these songs would have worked fine as B-sides, and that they should be treated as such. Life In Technicolor II: Part 1 IMO is better, all the freshness of part 1 is lost due to the horrible singing. It sounds patched and it doesn't flow well. The song tries hard to build up but never gets there. Postcards From Far Away: This is OK for ENYA. Not much to say here Glass Of Water; This is Viva la Vida (song) meets X&Y. It sounds weird, but after a few listens you get accustomed to it. I would say this is the highlight of this EP, but B-side material at most. Rainy Day: Coldplay going techno.
