I have been waiting for this cd since his last cd came out. I have all Brad's cd's and I love every song on them but I was so bummed when I put this in my cd player. There are only 4 songs w/ words! It was such a waste of money!!!!!

My mom gave a used copy of it to me as a Christmas present a while ago, and later I got the albums that all of the tracks from this album are on. This title definitely lives up to it's name in one sense. It primarily has his most popular recordings and with this album, you really do experience Hendrix. The real thing that I should mention is that this is the perfect Jimi Hendrix album to start out with. I should also point out that I personally prefer Jimi Hendrix's posthumously released live albums, such as Live at Berkley: The Second Set, Blue Wild Angel: Live at the Isle of Wight, and Live at Woodstock. Hendrix was a lot more than just the well-known songs.

I'm of an age such that I was growing up (early adolescence) when most of Led Zeppelin's albums were released; they (along with many other "giants" of that era) provided the soundtrack to my life during the mid- to late-'70s. I've had two or three of the albums on LP or cassette, but never got the whole series, start to finish, until a year or so ago. I don't have top-of-the line audio equipment, so the issues mentioned elsewhere don't affect me as much, though I'll take that into account should I ever get a high-end system. The sound in this set suits me fine, and I find that it actually sounds just as good in the car (I try to keep the windows up in that case! This CD was a total impulse buy for me--I had never even heard of Jeff Healey before. But I saw it in a separate display case in the store, it looked interesting, and I hadn't listened to any blues in a while, so I thought I'd give it a try. I am very glad I did. There's a lot of good ol' rollicking electric blues on this disc, including interesting interpretations of "Like a Hurricane" and "Shake Rattle and Roll," which I thoroughly enjoyed. Not every song is a winner, hence the 4 stars, but this is a solid electric blues disc, highly recommended. I've already ordered another Jeff Healey CD online.

purchased this in vinyl format when at first release. Saw the show at Madision Sq Garden both nights, "Song Remains the Same". If you love Led Zepplin then the remastered version is one for your collection. I'm glad Jimmy Page gave his blessing on the remix. Well done all around.....

if you would like to hear something different and you appreciate musicianship... buy this album right now. amazing spanish, folk guitar work is all over this album. even the covers of orion and stairway were good, and i don't really care for metallica a whole lot, but that was amazing. and they renewed my love of stairway to heaven. if you throw it in your car stereo, however, be ready to speed... be on the highway cuz this album will make you drive fast! another great aspect of this album is the booklet with it. i haven't gotten a chance to watch the dvd yet, but the included booklet has notes on all the tracks... how they met and how they wrote songs; it's a nice little companion to the music. anyhoo... if you appreciate fast-paced guitar and "worldly", folk music, buy now! it's a fun album.

First off, Amazon is asking to much money for this CD. I found it for $11.99 at the local music store. This is just one of Yngwie's CD's that I just cannot get into. Overall, I think the sound production sounds quite old, and Tim Ripper Owens on vocals is just making this CD sound alot like Judas Priest, and Yngwie's guitar playing sounds alittle bit sloppy.

I've played guitar, followed acoustic and electric guitar for years in classical, alternative, classic rock and folk genres.
