What can I say that hasn't already been said about this album? Probably not much but I'll throw my 2 cents into the mix anyways. Although the musical talent of each member is absolutely bursting from all angles from start to finish, it was really Brandon's lyrical stylings that made this one of my favorite albums, and Incubus one of the most socially conscious bands of all time. I read review after review and I'm amazed at the number of people who don't really "get" what the lyrics pertain to. If you don't, I'd start figuring them out ASAP. It's hard to describe what kind of impact this album had on me... I still get chills. Absolutely unbelievable.

I love RHCP and I was disappointed after finding out that there weren't a lot of tracks on this cd and that a lot of the songs were the slower ones. They are a great, diverse band with lots of different types of songs and I think this CD did not do the diversity a favor.

Alright, so you've probably heard a lot about this album and this band but I think this album and the band deserve so much credit. If you haven't really listened to anything off this album yet, I'm going to convince you to. Read on. This amazing album has two disks: Jupiter and Mars; both fantastic. Its sound is way different than previous RHCP albums but still keeps they're original style and flair. With crazy bass lines from bassist Flea and funky guitar rifts from guitarist John Frusciante, this album is packed with creativity and has something for everyone. great cd! The return of Frusciante was the best thing that happened to this group! No bad songs in there! all are amazing!

When I first heard this album, it didn't really strike me as anything special. It was different from the Incubus I knew and loved, and I wasn't sure I even liked it. However, last night as a total fluke, I ended up listening to it. Maybe I was too young to appreciate it then, or maybe my tastes have just changed, but suddenly at least most of the songs sounded great! I hadn't noticed the dynamics of songs like "Oil and water" and "Rogues" before, focusing almost solely on "Dig" and "Anna Molly." The album still has its flaws, of course. There are a few moments in "A Kiss to Send Us Off" where the vocals are off, and some songs don't necessarily reach their full potential, but overall, it is a job well done for Incubus.

Incubus is new to me. I am exploring their sound and continue to find reasons to continue. This cd is intelligent, as well as inspiring. Very very talented band.

This CD has to be owned by every 311 fan for two reasons. Track number 16. How Do You Feel? and number 17. First Straw. These two songs are only available on this CD. The price was low enough for me so I totally had to have it. The two songs are totally worth it and it's a great mix to pop in when you just want to hear some good summer tunes.

I am 40 and have been listening to instrumental guitar stuff for half my life, maybe more. I am all over the place with my tastes. This album did not take me very long to start to enjoy. I was first introduced to it via Whitewash, which is infectious enough, but the rest of the CD is even moreso. Yes, there are a couple of times when you think, "maybe he should have shortened this by a minute", but overall, the disc shows an artist who is very in touch with both over the top soaring leads, and soft touch stuff that makes you think it was played with a child's hands (that's a compliment). Buckethead, however strange the image, is a very adept player who can do this type of thing as good as any of the rest of them out there. On other KMK albums, there are always tracks that I skip, because they aren't very good. Those albums are still good, but they kinda feel like they have select tracks that are just there to fill space on the album. This album is great from start to finish. My favorite song would have to be "Pack Ur Bowls," which is guaranteed to become the stoner anthem for the next decade. My second favorite track would have to be "Sex Toy," which features a guest appearance from none other than the Tecca Nina himself. Obviously I'd recommend this album for anyone who is a fan of KMK. Also I'd recommend this album for anyone looking for something different when it comes to Hip-Hop and Punk Rock. This album mainly sticks to the Hip-Hop side of things, but there are also several tracks that are very mellow, that you can just listen to and vibe out ... Read More
