i bought this item for someone else hes had it before. i enjoyed it myself once i had heard it. very good cd, even had wolfman jack.

Soundtracks were really popular in the '80s and this one was no exception. The Dirty Dancing soundtrack was a childhood favorite, my mom used to play this album over and over again and I would dance like a nut to this timeless music. Songs like I've Had the Time of my Life, Hungry Eyes, Overload, Stay, Be My Baby, and Patrick Swayze's She's Like the Wind are the standouts. I love the film as well, great memories and incredible songs, I highly recommend this purchase!!

I've always liked The Wanderer and Run Around Sue. The Wanderer is a song that should have been covered by everyone from the Stones, to Aerosmith, to Hawkwind, to Hendrix. The middle break could cut thru anything. Ironically, it was Dion who covered Hendrix in what might be the most grotesque thing ever recorded, his version of Purple Haze, like a bad dream. Even given that, I am not putting anything he does down. If you are like some and don't much like Dion past The Wanderer, you need to listen to him out of the context of his time. This music, all of it, has the weird and uncanny feel of something inanimate brought to life or something formally alive that has become statuesque or doll-like. This DVD is listed in Amazon.com as Live Concert (2007) leading buyer to believe it's a more recent concert, but in fact it was filmed Live in 1992 at the 4 Seasons 30 year anniversary. Though the concert is very Good and entertaining, I was disappointed to be deceived in this way. I was in fact looking for a recent concert recording Frankie did not one 16 years old. So if you're just looking for a good Frankie & 4 Seasons concert - you'll enjoy this DVD, but be aware it's older than advertised.

The cd was delivered incredibly fast. It was a present for someone and I was really pleased it came so quickly. the cd was an excellent compilation of songs by the original artists and the recepient was very pleased.
