You can tell Pink was having relationship probelms when she wrote most of the songs on this CD. It is has a good mix of upbeat songs with a few slower pace songs. Great to add to your workout or party songs list. This is one of her best CDs do date.

"The Wall" is a Pink Floyd standard. It has some of the commercial hits, but also some tunes you may have not heard in the mainstream but you will love these too. Great music to add or start your Pink Floyd collection.

Anyone who gives this cd anything less than 5 stars is an idiot and your village does'nt want you back. This music collection is so unique that it has held it's popularity from generation to generation. (The only true test of greatness). This particular example of creative prog rock puts Pink Floyd up there in rarified air with all the heavyweights, like Mozart,Beethoven,and Tchaikovsky. Great music is intellectual , and that is why some people don't get it. The majority of people are looking for a cd chocked full of little 4 minute ditties because they have the attention span of a knat. P!nk is back with her new release 'Funhouse'. As a P!nk fan, I think this release definitely shows off her growth as an artist and her vocals are definitely on spot. I have to say that I felt 'Funhouse' is definitely different from her previous releases. It's more raw, gritty, featuring her vocals and ability to evoke emotion through her voice and words. This is not like any of her previous releases in that it's not overly produced and, to me, sounds a bit more stripped down and basic. I bought this CD for the song "Dear Mr. President"! The whole CD is really great, but my favorite is of course Dear Mr. President, this is a very powerful song!!

Their best is no doubt Dark Side of the Moon, but this album is a great follow-up. Somehow Pink Floyd's Album covers go seemingly well with the music as if the song has created the picture. And I mean by that the song Wish You Were Here and the album cover. gives a nice blend and a unique essence. Though "the feeling" of this album is very different from Dark Side of the Moon partially caused by the varying of the album covers. This album is worth listening simply because it is a Pink Floyd album, which in my opinion are one of the best bands in the world (if not the best). There music is simply precious and fulfilling, and will take you to another world. This album is no exception.

There are a few nay-sayers among the reviews of this album, and to them I say: This album is billed as the 30th Anniversary Edition. That's "edition", not re-release. The word strongly implies "somehow different" and this album is definitely different. The only reason to buy it, in my opinion, is to upgrade your historical collection of "Dark Side" to the newest and dramatically improved technology, and perhaps to hear a different opinion on how the mixdown should be done. Audiophile purists continue to sneer at "CD" technology, and for a few good reasons. The sampling frequency is such that subtle overtones in the uppermost registers which contribute to spatial imaging are lost or trashed. SACD essentially solves that problem. But the big deal with this release is in the 5.1 track. Read More

"Missundaztood" is a good album by powerful singer Pink. Includes "Don't Let Me Get Me", "Respect" and "Eventually". Pink ("Stupid Girl") has become involved in the 2008 Presidential Race. Interestingly, in the 2008 Presidential Primary race, New York Senator Hillary Clinton earned more Votes than any other Presidential Primary candidate in American history (hillaryclintonforum, the denver group)

Meddle is the album that transitions from the early Syd Barret days to the sound most people know from "Dark Side of the Moon" and "Wish You Were here" As A huge fan of Floyd, and only 26 years old, I can easily see that this is an amazing musical performance regardless of the "Pink Floyd" name. Haunting the then future Dark Side of the Moon sound, but still exploring the experimental "psychedelic" ( a watery classification) sound that was early PF. It doesn't hold the memorable, sale friendly tunes of latter albums, but it is undeniably Floyd, and a simply great musical composure.
