Music : Human Nature, Pt. 2
This release has the full Club Mix by Danny Tenaglia which is not on the US. While there is a DT short version and a different DT mix on the USA release, the short version is... well... short. WTF do you put a short version on a Maxi? At least put the long version as well! The other DT remix on the USA is missing the bassline.

The other versions are fine, fusing a bit of hip-hop into the foray.

There are several releases for this single on CD including a 9 track from the US, a 9 track from Australia and a 5 track version from the UK.
This has the distinction of being the German version with 3 tracks. What makes this release (in terms of collecting) so special is the "floral" disc graphics and the track listing:
1. Human Nature-Album Version (04:54)
2. Bedtime Story-Junior's Sound Factory Mix (09:15)
3. Bedtime Story-Orbital Mix(07:41)
Apart from the above this is a truly great Madonna cut. The message of the title cut is basically a big "screw you" to all her critics and detractors alike.
The following tracks from her previous single, "Bedtime Story", reminds us of her true brilliance and genius when it comes to exploring a new sonic vocabulary ... Read More

Ok here's yet another rant from a single I have bought and was very disappointed. Sure Frozen and Ashanti are great tracks. There is no argument there, but why pay for a single when you can buy the whole album??

For me this is very frustrating. Maybe people here are thinking this is the album, but then again Ray of Light is the Album, which this is from. Is it not??

I will certainly be trying to pawn this cd off to someone cause it is useless to me.

As an aspiring dj, I am looking for quality remixes that can be played in clubs and stand the test of time. The usual song has been played out by radios, so it is important that it is kept fresh with a good mix.

I just can't understand why record companies put out these singles that offer nothing different ... Read More

Well, I have read the mixed reviews for the single. Some say it is one of her best songs while others say not..or all of the mixes are the same. I disagree. For me, EROTICA was one of her best albums. Too bad it was overshadowed by her SEX book. DEEPER AND DEEPER is a throw back to the disco sounds of the Seventies. Madonna even said it was in memory of her STUDIO 54 days when she was a struggling artist in New York.

For me all of the mixes have a different disco feel, with pianos samples of her voice and hip shaking grooves. I think it is one of the best and I play it from beginning to end...

So, I recommend this highly, for someone who wants to remember 1993 or for the diehard collector.

With minor chord progressions highlighted by darkly tainted electric guitars, sinewy sax lines and layers of background "ooooohs," Estonian Female Snipers is an EP full of deliciously dangerous tunes. "Crystal" is a poppy electric spy story about a bunch of little miss sure-shots picking off Russians near Moscow. Presumably, the song is based on Yeltsin-era Russian propaganda explaining military difficulties during the Chechnyan war. Yeltsin blamed 10-foot tall mercenaries and Estonian female snipers for helping the wimpy Chechnyans beat up the mighty Russian army. Even the liner notes on this UK band's album have a whiff of mystery (there are no details about who plays what or who's singing). This much is certain: Fortress Madonna is indie pop espionage music at its best. - Amplifier Magazine
