It isn't often you find an entire album that is really really great. This one definitely is a GREAT album through and through. She has a beautiful voice, beautiful lyrics, and a beautiful "spirit" that truly shines through in her music.

Millions of dollars have been spent on publicity for this album. Yet, there's nothing spectacular about this singer. Sure, right now there's a Leona craze, so everyone who's not on board is considered crazy. Well, some of us are harder to brainwash. She's not a horrible singer, but my neighbor, who sings as she cooks, sings way better than Leona. She just needs Simon.

I think Leona did a nice rendition of "Moment like this". However, I don't think anyone could match the vocal prowess, emotion and texture of voice like Kelly Clarkson did. Leona's version is mostly a copy of Kelly's (except for a couple places) and I found myself wishing for the original. On the other hand, had I never heard Kelly, I would have thought Leona's version was pretty good. Hey, since this is an import, I paid $12.00 for this 2 song disc. Trust me, I was hoping that I would love it. I didn't. I guess you will have to judge for yourself.

I purchased the Spirit cd by Leona Lewis and the whole cd is such magnificent and powerful to hear. The song footprints in the sand is dedicated to my lord and savior for keeping me together with everyday life. Thank you Lord, Amen.

I can only speak for myself when I say that the singer - Leona Lewis is fresh in my eyes, and of course, beautiful, but the song she sings - "Bleeding Love" is perfect for her voice. There is a broken quality and a sadness that comes through to up the sincerity of the lyrics. She is new to me, and very enjoyable. The singer and the song remind me of some of the beautiful sad songs of years past.
