I pulled this CD set out for the first time in years the other day and was transported back to a time when the sky was seemingly the limit for this new sound called drum n bass. This album will put you in a trance...it gives the feeling of nostalgia while still feeling fresh. I feel like anytime you hear this it will always sound like the music of the future. It's simply the best intelligent DnB album of all time.

Two discs, one mixed and one unmixed. If you are a dnb / jungle fan, you probably already own this. If you've never heard dnb before, but are a fan of well-mixed music, ltj bukem works the decks like a zen master. If you are an aspiring dance dj, in any genre, listening to disc A will improve your craft. In some ways, this album is showing its age. Jungle, even atmospheric jungle, has gotten significantly faster and harder in the 12-14 years since most of these tracks were produced. Hovering around 158 bpm throughout, showcasing plenty of classic oldschool samples, jungle's roots in hardcore are more audible than in today's dnb. Thank you LTJ. This is a reminder why you top the genre. Downtempo lounge mixed with electronic and instrumental jazz riffs. Some real solid perfomances on this album and all in all a fantasic effort. Blame, Artemis, DJ Addiction.. very fine talent represented here.
