I did'nt think i was going to like this cd much, that is untill i put it in my player! This is my favor Christmas CD that i have, it seems like you could listen to it all year and not get sick of it.

Let me first start out by saying that this is totally different than Kenny's previous albums, because every song has a beachy feel of the islands, and is not radio-ready typical "pop-country". Not for everyone, however i absolutely love this CD - it is one of the best albums I have ever bought! Low key and laid back, this is island country at its best. Also, Kenny wrote every song on here, which really shows the talent he has for song-writing and why he originally came to Nashville as a song-writer. So many good songs, and so many true stories about people that Kenny has encountered in the islands. There is a song called There Goes My Life sung by Kenny from this cd that has touched my heart and brings back a painful memory to me. All moms know when their child leaves the nest you get tears in your eyes. Well this song was similar to my life. My oldest daughter in 2003 late summer loaded up her Mustang converible with most of what she owned like her Old Navy clothes and pictures to move to a dorm for she was college bound. I will never forget that day . Even though she was no longer in my home she wasnt too far away but it was time for my baby girl to experience life outside in this big world without her mom.
