This is such a refreshing CD and I really enjoy listening to it, but of course Incognito is one of my favorites and they are just great all the time. Good purchase.

We must don't forget that Incognito lead the way of a musical genre that combines elements of soul music, funk, disco, and another moods, beats and sounds. The compositions often feature chord structures usually associated with Jazz music and good music, but this time we have a album with a difference - real soul and beautiful compositions. Is it new? I think is a masterpiece, in especial way - Still a friend of mine - unique.

Incognito really brings it on this album, man. 9/13 tracks hits a classic with me!!!! This is really for the 21 & up crowd that appreciates REAL MUSIC, Period!!!!!!!! My 3 favorite tracks are: #2-Good Love--Joy Malcolm rips this tune apart!!! Bluey makes this song classic!!! #8-Spellbound and Speechless--What can I say??? A real R&B song with funky, upbeat sounds. #11-Millennium--Bluey lays down a smooth jazz track with a litte sax on the side I love this album to death!!! No disrespect to Maysa, a true vocalist by herself, but Joy Malcolm gives her a run for her money. But overall, a classic album indeed!!!!

A fine album. This carries the definitive vocalisation of Ronnie Laws' "always there", the uplifting classic "Still a friend of mine", hard popping acid jazz standards "everyday" and "Nights over Egypt". Maysa's scatting on the wonderful "colibri" would make this a buy on its own, but her delivery on the blue soul "deep water" is absolutely crushing. This is an album i want to be buried with, just in case the egyptians are right and I can take it into the afterlife.

I stumbled upon this CD while streaming on Rhapsody. I have several of Incognito's CDs and all of them are outstanding. After listening to "Eleven," it became apparent that these are true musicians who take the time to "do it right." It takes an exceptional band to keep a consistent sound that is fantastic and continuously produce music that far surpasses most bubblegum tunes played on the radio these days. The mixture of vocalists on the songs play very well. "Eleven" captures a sound that I haven't heard since the late 70's and early 80's, back when full bands played and singers stood flat-footed and belted songs at the microphone. I'm glad I stumbled upon this CD because I have truly fallen in love with it completely.

I bought this on the strength of the reviews, but I'm not happy. The bass is dominant throughout the entire cd, sometimes even pushing vocals to the background. I know some people really like a strong bass mix, but if you like more balance, you won't like this.

Great album, but if you are familiar with the Incognito art, you will certainly enjoy in this work of art

This disc is nice. It's funky energetic and sort of back ground good if you know what I mean. It is a sort of history disc for me, because 8 or 9 years ago, I bought Positivity. Since I bought Positivity, I have bought just about every Incognito disc since. None of them, in my opinion has ever matched up to Positivity. So, having never purchased TVS, I thought I would see what it was all about. It's good, don't get me wrong, but they just quite didn't know what to do with Maysas beautiful vocals yet. Interesting, if just for music trivia's sake. However, they get everything right on Positivity. It's a must have. Every song is good, even the mellow ones. If you have a kick'in Hi Fi setup,the recording is absolutely flawless. I know this is a review for TVS, but I wouldn't want anyone to buy this ... Read More
