It's Enigma as you know it. You always interpret it to your own believes. Another great album from Enigma. Songs 1-6 slow, #7 rock, 8-12 enjoyment.

It's been a while since new sounds have come from Enigma and the wait was worth it. It has some new things like a little more in deep tones. Great sounds. Great ear candy.

"People talk too much for what they have to say, words without meaning... they are fading away." And so, this is music at times invigorating, at times relaxing, but at all times captivating and thought provoking. Good to dance to, drink and read to, make love to and eat to and meditate on. All around nice and very creative. Highly recommended.

MCMXC A.D.--Enigma's debut album--was released in 1990. The seven compositions are seamless and play like an extended piece. The material is in a New Age musical direction. The album's sound quality is pleasing. I have always enjoyed listening to this piece of work over the years. Words to characterize MCMXC A.D. would be mysterious, refined, smooth, and creative. I like every one of the tracks. The Gregorian chants, the sounds of the flute, and the pulsating beats are what I find most memorable about this album. The disc is just over 40 minutes. MCMXC A.D. is recommendable.

El mejor disco del "segundo capítulo de Enigma", como llamó Michael Cretu al cambio que hizo empezando por "Voyageur" y que ha seguido hasta el más reciente "Seven lives, many faces". Esto sí es evolución. Ni trata de imitar viejos estilos como en E7, ni trata de volver el proyecto a su lado más pop como en E4, y tiene una línea como en sus primeros cuatro discos, o sea, que tiene una temática que se "discute", por así decirlo, a lo largo del disco, y son los descubrimientos y confesiones de la ciencia, además de metáforas con el cosmos y la vía láctea. Muy espacial, muy electrónico, muy frío pero enigmático, y muy bueno!!! E.X.C.E.L..E.N.T.E.

Much as I love all the Enigma albums, this is my favorite. It is just so different from all the others, especially the debut. They went eastern with this. More Middle Easternish sounding, but we'll call it "eastern". Like the debut, a good album to relax to.

I first heard of this cd when it was first advertised on tv in the 90's but honestly thought nothing of buying it. However in 2001 I happened to spot this cd when I was stationed in Japan and am happy to have spent my money on this cd. Due to the variety of the songs I feel that this cd is good to listen to at work , when you are spending time with your loved ones, and relaxing and nurturing yourself when you are alone. Some of the notable tracks that really stand out in a positive way for me are "return to innocence" by enigma "orinoco flow" by enya "sweet lullaby" by deep forest "tubular bells" by mike oldfield "sadeness" by enigma There are other good tracks on this cd that are also enjoyable. It's been a few years since its release, but this is THE Enigma CD, from the trilogy it's the best, it's full of Enigma's 'trademarks' such as the Shakuhachi flute and Gregorian monk chants; and songs such as "Beyond the Invisible' and 'TNT for the Brain' will blow your mind, there's not one song in this CD that is not worth listening to, it's a winner in every way, just like in MCMXC and 'The Cross of Changes', Le Roi Est Mort, Vive Le Roi! brings back the joyful and Gothic motif [I'm talking from the middle ages not the 'new' Gothic] Enigma has always put in its music. Michael Cretu is a musical genius!

Si cierras los ojos y te olvidas de que está firmado bajo el nombre de ENIGMA, lo podrás disfrutar como lo he disfrutado yo. "Total eclipse of the moon", "Following the sun", "The piano" y "Voyageur" son excelentes. Las demás son muy buenas si tienes en cuenta de que es ambient pop

I did not find that I enjoyed it as much as Pure Moods, Vol. I Pure Moods Vol I, I think is still the best
