Delta Sleep System This CD was awesome!!! I don't have trouble sleeping just thought it might be interesting and it definitely was. But,if you're looking for a good nights sleep....this is it!! You are literally transported to another realm. Every part of your body becomes relaxed and you truly wake up refreshed. I highly recommend this CD.

CD's with binaural beat technology are a great tool to use in meditation. That being said, not all CD's are the same. "Dr." Jeffrey Thompson flaunts his chiropractic degree in the title of his albums, but his background does not lend much skill to his abilities as either a neurologist or music composer. I have both "Awakened Mind" and "Gamma Meditation." Basically, both of the CD's I purchased from this group are nothing but an endless and monotonous series of tones that cannot hold the attention long enough to acheive the desired affect. I have most of Dr. Thompson's CD's and this is my favorite CD. I also have several levels of the Centerpointe Holosync series, which I enjoy also. Comparing the two series (Dr. Thompson's CD's vs. Centerpointe Holosync), I give the edge to Dr. Thompson. I find that the music on Dr. Thompson's series is more soothing and relaxing. I can also detect the beats, which my system seems to respond to better, than in the Holosync. As far as this Gamma CD, as I say it is my favorite. I don't find the music at all creepy or scary as some of the reviewers have noted, although I respect their opinion, it is how they perceive the music blended with their experiences. I have many CDs of this type and by Dr Thompson. He delivers what he promises: a very relaxing massage of the brain. I do warn against listening to this while driving or walking as it definitely zones me out in a few places.

I teach fifth grade in California. Sometimes it's difficult for them to come back into the classroom after recess and get settled down, ready for the next lesson. I picked up on a term I heard on tv (which they all know about this term)and I use it to my advantage. They love it and look forward to coming in and "Ideate" (I - de - ate) When they come back into the classroom I have one of my disk on the player at a low volume and let them just "Ideate" for 3-5 minutes. The length of time varies depending on their state of excitement. They can chose where to Ideate. On a table, the floor is popular, just sitting at their desk with their heads-down, etc. Believe me it works. A teacher's blessing.

10 to 15 mins of listening and I'm out cold for the rest of the night. I hit the repeat button and don't wake up until the alarm clock goes off. I have trouble staying asleep for more than two hours at a time and when I listen to this I have no problems. The delta waves in the background really help with winding my mind down.

It's Very good,I have the frist Delta.Just has good,I do well in Delta I like For a Russain systema Yoga mix.I do befor bed.aikitroy

I love it when its raining hard outside, especially when I'm sleeping. This CD does a fantastic job at recreating the sound of rain. I find myself sleeping better and longer when I have this CD playing at night. The sound is very mellow and there are no LOUD claps of thunder or hurricane winds. I love this CD.

I enjoyed this cd more than other relaxation cds because it had a constant sound. The waves sound realistic. The sounds were not constant in other cds I've used to fall asleep to in the past, which would cause me to wake up. There is nothing more aggavating than finally falling asleep to a cd to have it snap you awake with a loud sound as the cd comes to an end. This cd perfectly lulls me to sleep and I stay there long after the cd is finished.
