A brilliant album which takes the Dixie Chicks in a slightly new direction musically, appealing not just to Country fans but across the whole spectrum. All the fans will have a copy already but for anybody new to the band I would just say don't hesitate-this is sensational! "Not Ready To Make Nice", especially if you know the history,must be one of the most powerful and evocative anthems of the last 30 years, up there with the likes of "Bat Out Of Hell" and "Total Eclipse Of The Heart". Love the new Dixie Chicks. I also like the new release by Ryebender. Gravity is a great dixie like song.

This is the first CD I bought of the dixie chicks, and nothing compares to this album. It's amazing and I love every song. My favorite song on this album is "Fly", the lyrics are wonderful. This CD is a great cd to sing to in the car.

I love love love this cd. This is my second copy of this cd. I wore the first one out. They are truly amazing. I hope you can also watch " Shut up and Sung." It is wonderful. The girls are wonderful. I feel like I have a bond with them. And I can't wait to see what they have for us next :)

Our family just bought the "Shut Up and Sing" Dvd and we were blown away. We love Lyle Lovett, Alison Krauss and other contemporary country, but I don't know how we could have missed this amazing band. We are buying every Dixie Chicks cd they've recorded not only because we love the music, in addition they have character and are willing to stand up and be counted. Courage should be rewarded. We'll do our part.

I assumed this was a complete album, but to my suprise it was a two song CD (one done twice). I had purchased two, one for our daughter and one for us. When I received the two CD's and found that there were only three songs on the CD, I sent them back for credit, and Amazon charged 25% restocking fee. This will be my last transaction from Amazon.
