"Circus" may not be the best album of all time, but its certainly Spears' most interesting record after 2007's "Blackout". That record was certainly groundbreaking, as each song was a potential single, and sonically it was cohesive and well-formed, which is why it found its' way to critics' best-of list at the end of the year. Expect far less praise for "Circus" though. Aside from the atrocious cover art (look closer) and the absolute lack of any real theme (the album is as un-circusy as you could possibly imagine), the songs themselves aren't very groundbreaking. Many of them sound oddly dated - two pieces especially seem like they were pulled out of Spears' 2001 Vault - and this is certainly not a good thing. i bought this CD when it first came out and i listened to it so much that i actually put this on my wish list on here to buy a new copy when i can since i outplayed my first copy...anyone who puts down Britney Spears really has no business even reviewing her music CDs since if you hate her music then why did you buy her CDs in the first place?...this is a collection of her greatest hits as well as a couple of added new tracks...a lot of her songs speak to my soul and/or heart as well as some get my energy levels pumping...i love her music and cannot wait for her new CD of "Circus" to be released next month Note to the Britney haters: there are forums and sites to voice your dissing of her or any other celebrity on the planet if you have the need to do that in your life but reviews is not the place ... It's rare for me to like any of her songs without them being remixed club versions but with this one, I had to buy it. Very catchy, easy to remember, and most importantly, if you take out her voice, the song holds up well.

Who needs manufactured chick singers like Nico, Patti Smith or PJ Harvey when you have a REAL singer like Ms.Spears? It's obvious that the first three I mentioned have been using computers to enhance their voices, while Britney has raw talent! She can belt out a tune like no other with true grit. You really feel like she's singing just for you. 5 stars, bravo, Ms.Spears! You've outdone yourself.

Grammy winner Britney Spears continues to deliver, from her Disney Mickey Mouse days to "Blackout" (which has sold about 900,000 copies in the U.S. according to Nielsen SoundScan) Her recent appearance on the CBS/TV sitcom "How I Met Your Mother" was the most watched episode in the shows 3 year history (10.6 million viewers according to Nielsen Media Research) Britney Spears was recently featured in a Presidential hopefuls campaign ad -Britney Spears should do an ad herself and let the candidates know that it is Hillary Clinton who received more Votes than any Presidential candidate in history!

No musical qualities. No frantic kick drum, no guitar solo, No jazzy song structers, cheezy lyrics and no musical or lyrical substance. I hope every jazz, metal, blues and rock band come to her house and pop a squat right over her face and let loose. She is human garbage to be destroyed. This cd disgusts me. If this is what makes it to the charts then I can understand why other countries hate us. America has crappy taste in music. From christina agaiulara or however it is spelled to little wayne, they all prove my point. Most pop music sucks.

Now 6 is definetely the best CD in the Now series yet! I love it! Most of the songs are really good. I love ATC's "Around The World", as well as K-Ci & JoJo's "Crazy" because they have great lyrics and music. I also like Jennifer Lopez's song,, as well as Coldplay's and Destiny's Child's "Independent Women Part I", which is really good. Samantha Mumba absolutely has potential, and I really like Incubus' "Drive", because I love the lyrics a lot. But my 3 favorite songs are as follows: 3) Fuel's "Hemorrhage (In My Hands), because the lyrics rock as does the music. 2) 3LW's "No More" because it is just a great song! But number 1 is Crazy For This Girl by Evan and Jaron, because it has awesome lyrics, awesome music, an awesome beat, and Evan and Jaron have got GREAT singing voices!
