If one of my favourite singers, hard-rocking Chris Daughtry of American Idol fame and one of my other favourite singers, Carrie Underwood, also of American Idol fame made an album it would sound like this! Every song sounds completely different from the other, despite some jealous hater reviews. You wish you could make an album this epic! Every song is played at a virtuoso-level of instrumentals, while Jon Bon Jovi's voice keeps getting better and better. He almost sounds as good as Chad Kroger from Nickleback! I advise you buy this album NOW!!

Slippery When Wet some think its the greatest album of all time but personally i think its just one of those albums you can just pass on as nothing. Whats so special about, "Let It Rock", oooh so they used synth and guitar and just played one note and than bon jovi's singing comes in who cares. The reason i give it two stars is because its okay i guess i mean livin on a prayer and wanted dead or alive is okay but besides that its too glammy. not great not good

I missed the part of the title that said Greatest hits "with a twist". Was expecting just the songs I know and love. The words are the same but the music different, slower. Not a fan at all :-(.

I bought this CD for the Tracy Chapman/Eric Clapton "Give Me One Reason" rendition. This is a great CD! Tracy Chapman's "O Holy Night" is beautiful, non traditional but sung like a loving lullaby, just lovely, one of the nicest renditions I've ever heard, and I really like this song. Jon Bon Jovi plays both "Please come home for Christmas" and "Christmas (Baby Please Come Home)" really nicely, like he was made to play these songs. Everything Clapton and Tracy Chapman offer is wonderful and John Popper, well of course. I don't have a lot of exposure to some of these musicians because I don't listen to a lot of radio or to the genres they usually represent. This is one of Bon Jovi's better albums with songs like Living In Sin, Lay Your Hands On Me, and Bad Medicine. It was it's post success from Slippery When Wet. I have a soft spot for Jon Bon JOvi and the band because I'm from his hometown. The album is a great tribute to New Jersey but the album cover should have a picture or a map of the state itself. It was one of the first times that I was ever proud to be from New Jersey.

I'm about half way through disk 3 right now and can not believe the songs on this set. with the exception of 3 songs so far I like all rest I've heard. I do like bon jovi, but I'm not a huge fan. that being said half of these songs are as good or better than the songs that did make thier albums. I got a really good deal on this I got it from an amazon merchant for $16.50 including shipping it was used, but it is just like new. definately well spent money. there probably is $60 worth of good music here though.

I heard the songs on this one and all the songs sound the same. There is no variety on here. NOTHING! Also, I am not a big fan of country music, and unfortunately (for me) that is the direction they are going.

I love this group and this CD is great. I saw them in concert in April and it was awesome.
