I would highly recommend it!

I have bought Southern Living Magazines for years but there is a irritating trend in all magazine publications and Southern Living is no exception. Most articles are one page, really less. With photos and ads, most are 4 paragraphs or less. Its like the American Public is all ADHA and the publishers think we can't concentrate any longer than that. If I take the time to look at each page of the magazine, then I won't mind spending 5 more minutes reading a little depth to an article that catches my attention. I can now go through an entire Southern Living in less than 30 minutes. Is this worth my money?

I like this magazine but like others have mentioned it has a lot of ads. I enjoy most of the ads though, they give me ideas sometimes. Mostly it's a picture book, I don't really read many of the articles.

Veranda is one of my favorite interior design magazines. Yes, there is quite a bit of advertising. Tho, most of the advertisements are beautifully done and are more like art than adverts.

Anyone could get decorating ideas from Veranda. Many times I have used Veranda to get ideas for garden design, floral design, home furnishing, art, textures and for choosing my home's color palette. If you shop in local antique shops, flea markets or even Ebay you can find similar antiques and art to recreate the designer looks in Veranda for much less money.

Each month in Veranda there's usually a pictorial feature on jewelry. I love the way the jewels are so beautifully arranged, then skillfully photographed.

As other reviewers have mentioned Veranda's paper stock ... Read More

When living in Oregon, I couldn't wait for the Sunset to come .
Now I am living in Southern CA. in the desert and I still love
the magazine, but, wish there were more articles on gardens here.
I always pass my Sunsets on to friends and family.

As I've enjoyed living-off-the-land kinds of stuff since I was a teenager, this magazine was an amazing find in my early 20s only to find out my mother had been reading it for years! Their articles are interesting, inspiring, and encouraging. I think a lot of their ideas are very do-able, although some are difficult if you don't have the land. The only negative thing I'd have to say about it is that some of their issues/articles seem a little redundant. Overall, though, I enjoy reading these issues, some of them over and over. They really appeal to the earth roots personality.

This is a great magazine for someone who wants to know more in detail about specific topics in gardening. As a chairperson for a homeowners association I always want to learn more. Very informative without being too wordy. Lots of nice pictures.

After subscribing to a number of home & garden magazines, I have found that only Southern Accents has that truly southern timeless style that is really inspiring. Porches with fans, crown molding galore, regal touches of gold, french antiques, etc, etc. With regard to the reviewer who claimed that this is European and not Southern... where did he/she think the style and culture of New Orleans came from???
