Very Disappointed.
They began my subscription with an issue that is already over two months behind the newsstand. Typical corporate crap...! Like reducing the value of the subscritpion by 20 percent or so.

Thanks alot Amazon, I will not forget who organized this consumer rip-off.

I have been a subscriber for 3 years. Specifically I have been getting Cosmo/Marie Claire combo subscription for $20. If not for that I don't know if I would read Marie Claire. I prefer Cosmo, but I do like Marie Claire. I like their feature stories & their reviews of best music/books/DVD every month. A good read. It's true that now you can get it for $5 a year. I'm not a big magazine person, but I like this one.

It took about a month and a half to get my first issue. I knew it was going to take a little while to process. It didn't matter to me when I recieved it, as long as I did! It's a great magazine that really relates to women. I love the articles and it's not all about excersing. They give great tips on makeup and clothes. Check it out!

Real Simple is an appropriate name for this magazine. It offers time saving tips and easy decorating ideas for people who don't have the time or the funds to embark on complicated projects. I subscribe to quite a few magazines so wasn't in the market for one more until a sample of Real Simple arrived in the mail.

I have been a Cosmo subscriber for over 3 years. One of my favorite magazines. I actually read it cover to cover every month. Yes its kinda repetitive, but its very fun and has plenty of advice for a woman on various topics. It has a little bit of everything. Plus your boyfriend/husband can read it when you are done!

4 stars for me.

Though not particularly interested in all the celebs that appear in In Style, I enjoy this magazine because it covers the fashion world pretty completely in every issue. It's a good resource for keeping up to date about such products as hair styling aids, shoes, perfume, makeup, etc. As in most fashion mags, some of the clothing featured is unwearable for ordinary women, but a good deal of what they show is stylish and practical. It also does a good job illustrating faux pas. I look forward to leafing through each new issue.

This is by far my favorite magazine. It's dynamic- it doesn't just focus on one topic, but many! Glamour has something for everyone, be it makeup tips or clothes for your body type, work out regimes, sex tips, and articles on global issues. Yes, some of the articles can be a bit repetitive, but come on, your reading a magazine, not a Shakespearean novel.
I love the articles by Marianne Pearl. She is traveling the world for Glamour, writing stories about social issues in our world. Not only are the articles well written, but they are uplifting and give light to problems that the media often ignores.
The Glamour Beauty section focuses on tips for applying makeup for the current season and fun hairstyles to try. Glamour Fashion has clothes that are mostly affordable for the ... Read More

Ordered the magazine as a christmas gift. It has been over 2 months and have not recieved anything. Called the magazine company several times and have been disconnected after going though the automation and waiting 10 mins each time. I hope they provide other customers a better experience than we have had. Good Luck.

This month's issue of Vogue (July 2008, with Nicole Kidman on the cover) clarified for me the significant drop in quality at American Vogue over the years. The magazine has reduced in size, now smaller than US letter paper. The spine measures less than 1/4 inch. The printing and paper quality are low. The content of the July issue, in particular was watery. Vogue used to contain expansive descriptions of trends and details, but if the last few issues are an indicator, they must have fired a lot of writers. What exists now is not much more than product placement ads. The photo pages are few in number as well. I know that there is much more to fashion now that what was in Vogue lately. What's going on? Maybe there needs to be a change in editorial leadership. In the meanwhile, sadly I probably won't renew. ... Read More
