Wired Magazine is a very interesting and useful magazine, and at this price its even better. Its nice to know I'll always have a good, large magazine to read for bus and subway trips.

I ordered the Smithsonian magazine as a Father's Day gift due to the fact it was so easy and offered at such a great price. The ability to print out a gift card was a great touch because then I had something to send my dad, rather than just a promise to get something in 4-6 weeks. The offer email I received from Amazon was really helpful when trying to think of ideas for Father's Day and the ordering process was quick, easy and cheap! Thank you Amazon!

this is the cheapest subscription I have found to a very useful magazine, Wired. will look here next time I need a magazine

I subcribed for one year last Aug, but only received one magazine since then, and I called this company and emailed them,they never respond, liar, cheater.

June 2008 I have been a reader from the first issue. Its a great magazine but.. As an international subscriber I am totally dissatisfied with customer service. Customer service does not respond. Web page account login does not work. Issues are missing as they are shipped through poor quality cheap couriers. Avoid !

my 6 yr old grandson loves this magazine. I have given it to him as a birthday gift the last two years.

It can't be argued that National Geographic still features excellent photography of a wide variety of subjects, but the written content of this famous publication has declined to the point of self-parody. NG still commissions a few notable journalists (Alma Guillermoprieto's contributions are invariably excellent), but contributions by the likes of Frank Viviano, William Allard, etc. are characterized by a thoroughly unprofessional (and distinctly American) tendency to express their personal opinions and experiences in their articles, which are typically distinguished by the most nauseatingly saccharine, humanist perspectives. If you're looking for journalistic objectivity, you'll only find it sporadically here, and mostly in articles pertaining to the fundamental sciences or their relation to technology. ... Read More
