Mental Floss I absolutely love this magazine and I am no brain. The things( articles, etc.) are challenging and yet still not so hard that you can't get it done. I would highly recommend this to anyone who enjoys a challenge - light hearted or serious - and you learn from the articles - makes you want to look up the info, if you don't know it.

I ordered this magazine for my son on 6/22/08. He has yet to receive his first issue and now has a new address. I'm having a terrible time trying to correct the shipping address.

Archaeology magazine is a bi-monthly magazine offering information on current digs as well as almost any topic of archaeology one can imagine. I have been reading the magazine for the last 40 years since college days. My line of study was anthropology, having earned enough credit hours to dig, however, my only touch down through time with dirt level archaeology has been through this magazine and one on biblical archaeology. This is a great magazine! The topics are well chosen and the perspectives are diverse and balanced. Events and people are covered in a very factual and interesting presentation. This magazine is tough on the environment - you will not want to dispose of a single issue for their entertaiment value is timeless.

Is this magazine supposed to be balanced and informative? Between Molly Ivins and Jim Hightower, there are no bigger liberals in Texas. I recommend passing on this one.

I too recently subscribed to BBC History Magazine through Amazon and had no problems. It's a colorful magazine full of interesting and lively articles and stimulating ideas. Indirectly, I also see BBC History Magazine as a kind of travel magazine. There are lots of historical places I want to check out after reading a few issues. Highly recommended!
