With the Amazon Promotion, I bought a one-year subscription (4 issues) for less than $5. That's the cost of a single issue at a newsstand. How can I complain at that price? Easy. I wish the publication offered more expert articles and fewer pages of last year's statistics.

Nice Playstation only magazine with very little fanboy articles. Articles and reviews are generally right on.

I have been getting this magazine from my local Lowes for the past 5 years, and I have never been disappointed with a single issue. From simple to more complex, their how-to sections are enough to make this magazine a must. However, they add that much more with new product reviews, smart user-submitted hints, and expert advice to keep ones interest over and over. I highly recommend this magazine, and think all homeowners should add it to their arsenal for fixing and beautifying their home!

This product is pretty good except for you most likely will never receive your 12th issue. Other than that you get disks of demos every month and pretty good articles.

Having been a gamer for many, many, years, I can say that Game Informer is the best magazine out there now, and probably the most comprehensive and well made gamer mag ever. Simply put, this magazine does a lot of things well... 1) The reviews are honest and thorough. I would say that I agree with them about 90% of the time. Many games will have two reviews so you can get different opinion. 2) Great layout. There are reviews, previews, editorials, reader letters, game news, event coverage, etc.. Overall, there is a lot in every issue. 3) Good construction. Nice size and great color on the pages. I remember old school GamePro where it was like a cheap comic. This is not the case.

I've been reading Electronic Gaming Monthly for several years, and it is truly one of the best gaming mags out there. The writing is phenomenal; the writer's manage to put humor and detailed information into their articles. Many other magazines have sold out in recent years, giving better reviews to game's whose publishers pay more for advertising and such, but not EGM. If you want a high quality magazine about video gaming and all of its attachments, buy this one.

This is, in my opinion, one of the top two or three woodworking magazines in America. Reading it with raise the level of your craft. (Ammended) I now give it 4 stars (****) I've been subscribing to this magazine for almost over 8 years and I feel that it definitely helped raise the level of my craft significantly in the beginning - and still does today, but to a much lesser extent. I find a lot of the content to be repetitive. The tool reviews are excellent.

I believe there is an error in the answer for puzzle #43 in the July 2005 puzzle book. The logic given for the Cont. Congress print does not match clue #4. I believe the dates given for the Cont. Congress and for Paul Revere should be reversed. (C.C. should be 1868 and P.R. 1856) Other than that, I am having a ball with the puzzles, and it keeps my gray matter from atrophying!

Everything was fine, ordered in October and received my first issue in December. Even though I was warrened it would be this long or longer, I thought that was a little too long to wait! Why should it take that long? However, I was happy with the service, otherwise, and I like the book!

This magazine is terrific if you are or know a poker player. It has a lot of information on tournaments, especially Texas Holdem. It has a good listing of the regular tournaments that happen in Las Vegas every day, although all the hotels are not in there. If you want to find out for sure if a specific hotel has a tournament you are best off to call that hotel to find out. Overall, though, this is a terrific magazine. It is a magazine that you find in Las Vegas by some of the poker rooms. If you order this magazine, though, be sure you follow the order process closely. I ordered it on December 14 and hadn't received it by February 8. I called the magazine itself and they did not have me on record.
