I ordered this for my grandchildren. They all enjoy looking at it. My 2 1/2 year old grandsons both like it, too. It is a great magazine for any animal lover. I want to teach them the importance of animals and to work to protect them. If we all start when they are small, they will grow up with that love. my 6 yr old grandson loves this magazine. I have given it to him as a birthday gift the last two years.

Haven't gotten this subscription yet. Apparently it takes about 6 weeks to get. We've gotten this magazine before and my girls love it. Very clean and age appropriate.

Lots of fun, good reading and some good advice. I'll definitely renew this subscription. It has lots of interesting things for kids to do and occasional sections with examples of situations where kids acted their best or not their best. Teaches kids to make thought through choices and ways to better themselves.

BEST MAGAZINE EVER!!! Ignore all of the one-star reviews; they haven't a clue what they are saying. I'm a dedicated subscriber. Muse has the right combination of wits, info, and COMPLETE RANDOM USELESS facts to keep any child who can read (ignore the age 9-14 thingy; I started at 8) entertained for weeks to come and impatiently awaiting the mail for their issue. It is the most flamablamablous magazine ever; buy this for your kid. If you start to see an intense fear of hot-pink bunnies and a great love of pies afterward... we had NOTHING to do with it. This is a great magazine for little children! I started subscribing to it when my son was about 14 months old. He's now over 2 and really likes it a lot. I think 14 months was a little young for him to be considered "into it" but it became a monthly habit for him as a result. When one of these issues arrives, it is priority to go through it straight from the mailbox! Each month features different games, lessons and stories- oh, and a lot of photos of animals! We also receive National Geographic Little Kids and this one seems to be more intriguing to my son for some reason. I am very glad we've subscribed to this and I think it will be a treat for him for a long while. My only gripe is that the magazines come apart after a while. I purchased this magazine for my great granddaughter. I have already renewed it for the second 9 months. She is delighted with the magazine. Her parents read to her every evening before bedtime and she looks forward to this. It brings parents and child closer.

I read Young Rider as a tween and love the magazine. It's a definite must have even for kids who don't own a horse.

This was my favorite magazine when I was a kid, and now I've subscrubed for my three-year-old nephew who loves it as well. It doesn't look as though the content has changed much in the last twenty-five years, only the cover design is notably different, but they're still as good today as I remember from when I was a kid. Each magazine features a different animal, and is packed with photos and illustrations showing different species, skeletal and muscular structure, and interesting facts. The pictures and illustrations are great for young kids, and the information educates older kids. I've seen them for sale at a lot of zoos individually. This magazine is definitely a keeper. It teaches kids to cope with their age problems in a great way, telling real life stories. Has all the fun activities and fashion and care tips as well. Both my 8 year old and the 11 year old daughters love it.
