I love this magazine. The projects are easy to make and often are with things around the house or easy to get. Their customer service is great. Everyone is always friendly when I call. I actually get off the phone feeling happy talking with them. I live in Japan and have never missed an issue or had one late. (International orders have to be called in which is why I know they have great customer service.) I've already place another two year subscription. Your kids will love the activites. Mine does and she only three.

If you like the magazines you might want to by their line of books as well. Here's the only warning, the books contain the ideas of the older magazines with only a few originals. But if you want all the party or food ideas in one place, the books are the ... Read More

I first subscribed to Wondertime after reading two issues cover-to-cover during visits to my pediatrician and obstetrician's offices while pregnant with my second child. The articles are always well researched and well written by authors who are working moms, stay-at-home moms, working dads, and even stay-at-home dads. I find that this diversity of authorship creates a wonderful mix of topics and viewpoints on parenting. And I love that at the end of each article, there's a photograph of the author with a little blurb that tells you who they are and what they've written recently. From this, I've found a couple books because I've learned to recognize certain authors as my favorites.

In short, if you're looking for a parenting magazine that lives in a different sphere from the ... Read More

I had my sons subscribe to it when they were young and used it in my classroom when I taught second grade. It is a very good magazine and helps children learn about animals and the environment. I

Had a year subscription for my kids. This is just blatant advertising - - mostly movies and toys. The real NG-esque content is sparse, if present at all. My boys also have SI for kids which they love, and though it has some advertising, it has way more content.

We will not continue our subscription of NG for kids.

As a former pre-kindergarten teacher, I remember this magazine as a great teaching tool and a well used book in the library center...Now that I have a three year old granddaughter, Amelia is receiving this as a birthday gift. I feel this will open her eyes to learning about the world around her as well as encourage Amelia to seek and find information she needs to be a good citizen on Planet Earth.

I just received my first issue of Shutterbug. Despite the many pages of advertising (some of which is actually informative), I find that the magazine is full of helpful tips, supplemented by products that are relevant to the advice. I look forward to the other issues and if the quality of the magazine endures, so will my subscription to it.

I purchased this for my 11 year old son. the first issue came this week. He said he only had time to skim it but the articles seemed interesting to him and he is looking forward to reading them. I also skimmed throught the first issue and it did seem to be different than anything else I have seen.

Well, I'm 5 issues into my subscription, and I have to say that, so far, I'm not very impressed. I really wanted to like this magazine, but I just don't. The photographs contained within its pages are wonderful, breathtaking even. But that's about it. There is usually one article that's semi-helpful, and the rest is just ads, or articles that read like ads, for the latest camera gear or processing software. The writers are more like cheerleaders for the newest gadgets that they feel you simply must buy. No critical reviews, no head-to-head comparisons...nothing. Even the tips and advice articles are just basic stuff that can easily be found on the internet. Needless to say, I won't be renewing my subscription.

There isn't much writing in this magazine. Save your money. There are a lot of ads (the pics are nice for ideas), but the magazine doesn't give you much information at all. I wish I had not subscribed and will not be renewing. I do like Domino, if you are looking for a great alternative.
