I used to subscribe to this magazine back in the internet heyday around the turn of the millennium. It was great, really different but more important, really RELEVANT. I saw this great offer for $1/issue and figured what the heck I'll try it again. This magazine is nowhere near what it used to be, and it's just chock full of glossy, irrelevant ads. They even include other magazine clips and advertising inserts inside the plastic wrap it comes with. It reminds me of my wife's Glamour magazine now. Yes, some of the articles are still trendy and forward looking from a technology standpoint, and it's a great value at $1/issue, which is why I'm still rating it 3 stars, but it's so all over the place in terms of content now as to be confusing. I've been a subscriber for years and love this magazine. Not full of ads. Some articles are a little repetitive but I just skip over them when I've had enough. I'm really into psychology/sociology and it seems at least once a month they have a noteworthy article. I'm always bringing them into work.

I love this magazine as it can compete with Shape,Self, and others. This magazine is full of exercise and diet tips that are priceless. I love all the above magazines and read them all.

Popular Mechanics is the true man's magazine. It includes all kinds of topics that real men are interested in. If you like gadgets and real men topics....not about moisturizers and glowing skin....then this is the mag for you.

Never mind the near naked women photos, the articles look like they were written by two year olds on a cheap PC Computer. Just wind. No fact finding, no uncovering news from reliable sources, NOTHING. It is trash magazine that has Gossip which makes the National Enquier look good.

Smithsonian Magazine is an excellent source of accurate information regarding numerous subjects. Great educational tool, well written, beautiful photographs, etc. My husband and I enjoy it tremendously, and I give it as gifts.

I've been a subscriber of this magazine for many years. It's an important tool for vegetarian cooking, but a good resource for non-vegetarians as well. It has limited recipes for vegans, but most non-vegan recipes can be altered. The price was right for this magazine, at full price I would not have ordered a subscription.

I have been reading Glamour since i was 16 and still find the articles interesting and it helps me keep up with fashion and cosmetics still at my age. I like to try to keep current and Glamour helps me do that. Great magazine at all ages.
