My grandson and granddaughter have not received even the first copy of the magazine as of this date. The subscription payment cleared my bank weeks ago but there is still no magazine at their house.

My grandson was elated that something came in the mail for him. We read it immediately. He enjoyed the pictures,the jokes an when he comes back from his dad's we will make the little book and do some of the craft projects. I can't imagine any child not liking this publcation. I had former experience with this publication as my ddaughters [now 26&27] loved it when they were young. It was great to see that the magazine is still of high quality an so totally enjoyed by the young.

This was my favorite magazine when I was a kid, and now I've subscrubed for my three-year-old nephew who loves it as well. It doesn't look as though the content has changed much in the last twenty-five years, only the cover design is notably different, but they're still as good today as I remember from when I was a kid. Each magazine features a different animal, and is packed with photos and illustrations showing different species, skeletal and muscular structure, and interesting facts. The pictures and illustrations are great for young kids, and the information educates older kids. I've seen them for sale at a lot of zoos individually. I am seven years old. My favorite section is "Ask Jimmy and the Bug". The questions that kids send in are very interesting. "Marvin and Friends" is another good part of the magazine. Most of the time it's very funny. I recommend this magazine very much.

My 8 year old son is obsessed with this magazine. He spends a good portion of his free time scouring over his new & back issues. It really keeps his attention & keeps him quiet! He always gets so excited when a new one comes. Well worth the $ if you have a boy who likes scouting.
