This is a very informative magazine that I can send to my nephew who collects coins and valuable currency.

I did not receive my first issue until August 2, 2008. It was interesting but the pictures are sometimes too small. I did enjoy the articles which were informative.The information on source material was valuable but I hope that the show would have more information on line. I give the magazine a B for a grade.

I ordered this magazine as a gift for my father for Christmas and as of March 2006 still have not received any magazines, but my credit card was charged. Publisher not very good with customer service as phone calls not returned. Therefore, sent an email to Amazon to see if they could help. Update: Received the magazine the end of May '06 (ordered Dec '05). They extended subscription to cover the year I paid for.

But that's my only problem I still really <3 scrye magazine. The only thing that tops it is InQuest Gamer imo.

This magazine and its 'sister' publication have become two of those small joys that add to the enjoyment of life. I am not kidding. Considering all the garbage that passes for art it is a pleasure to look at and enjoy this magazine each month. The quality of the publication is first rate and like Western Art Collector the full color spreads are a pleasure. I agree with the reviewer that felt that it was impossible to throw out an issue. I strongly recommend this magazine.

This magazine can drive car collectors nutty. That being said, however, we have to realize that it's all that out there that counts. The Editor/Publisher could add more "rare" factory models (say, 1955 - 1975), and add more definitive optional equipment listings, but that might use up to much space. I'll keep getting it.

Even with Beckett clearly the leader in the monthly hobby price guide, I found that Tuff Stuff simply has "MORE." More articles, more insider info, more items reviewed, etc. They just simply aren't as up to date with the pricing as Beckett is, but hey, who cares? A card is only worth as much as somebody else is willing to pay for it. And NOBODY pays "book value" for anything. Sometimes it's more if a player is hot (Chipper Jones close to .400 BA) or has just died (Sorry??). Sometimes it's less if they are in a slump (Barry Zito?) or are being blasted for steroids (Barry Bonds?). I haven't had a subscription to TS in a few years but have picked up the occasional mag on the newsstand. At $15 for the year though, I had to jump on it.

I'm a little disappointed I purchased this for my dad for father's day I thought it was a magazine but it's actually a 6 page flyer with 3 holes on the side to put in a binder. I just think it's a little pricey for a flyer but he said he enjoys it and the information is good.

Coin Prices is the most comprehensive, up-to-date, value guide, aside from CDN Greysheet, for the numismatic hobbiest. It is much easier to use than the Greysheet, more economical, and has listings occasionally for Mexican coins, Canadian coins, and U.S. Currency. The values listed are far more realistic than the values listed in Coin World's Coin Values publication. I would recommend this magazine to anyone in the hobby, whether they be a collector, investor, or dealer, Coin Prices is, by far, the best.
