I ordered it on 9/4/08, it's been almost 6 weeks now, I still haven't gotten my first issue of the magazine. So... if you are ordering it as a present for someone, order EARLY!! Hopefully it'll be here soon :(

Was once an excellent, reliable mag, with all sorts of helpful information on different subjects. Now, it's mostly adverts with a few pages of info and recipes here and there, and half of it seems to be geared toward housewives who are intent upon watching every calorie. I guess if you're ocd about your weight and you're looking for another way to beat yourself up, this is for you.

I've lived in L.A. all my life, it's my favorite place to be, and I'm so glad there is this magazine to cover everything about the city I love.

I guess I'm too old for this magazine now. It was so much better in the late 70s to mid 80s. Now it's too celebrity oriented, and many of the models are too thin and alien-looking--and too young. Back in the day, I enjoyed looking at the hair and makeup on the cover model, whose name I might know, but I didn't know her backstory, because she was not an overexposed celebrity. I don't have any of the old Bazaars to compare with the new, but I can sense that something is off about the design layout--too busy? too jarring? It used to be a pleasant distraction from everyday life; I used to look at this magazine over and over. I wish I had saved every old copy. Would it be too expensive to do a retro version of this mag for us older women? I'm still thin, I work out, I love to dress fashionably ... Read More

I bought this for dirt cheap, maybe $5-8 for the year. My daughter loves getting this each month and often asks if her current issue's arrived yet. I didn't give the full amount of stars because I'm not crazy about some of the articles and I don't like the ads selling to my child. That aside, there are some useful and entertaining things in there, too. I bought it for a 14 year old though now that I've looked at it I think it may be more appropriate for around 16.

There are much better parenting mags out there. Don't waste your money the articles are common sense or just written to sell a product. In fact some of the info I found misleading from the truth. Try Parenting Magazine the topics are similar but the info is better and doesn't seem written by the companies advertising in their magazine.

There are lots of attractive males in this magazine that are usually wearing nice clothes. And there are some interesting articles once in a while. But the advertisements are aplenty. Even more than some gaming magazines! That's all you see every 2 pages or so! That gets boring after a while... Good thing I didn't pay for this subscription. :^D 2 stars. end note: the title to this review kinda copies a song by Fefe Dobson. :^-D
