Fairly good magazine. The articles are short, interesting, and often include sailing stories. SAIL could use more hands on information. Overall evenly balanced between stories of interest, and "how to" articles. SAIL seems to be targeted at the middle class boat owner. You may need to subscribe to a mag more focused on your particular needs or two to three magazines on sailing.

Cruising World Magazine is a monthly publication containing cruising, chartering, sailing and sailboats reviews. The magazine articles covers sailing experience levels from the learner to world cruisers and deal with on board cooking and food, sailing performance, anchorages and anchoring, boat maintenance and boat equipment. There are personal and friendly articles where the author takes you along on their voyage seeing sights, meeting local people, different foods, entertainment and cultures. I find this magazine hit or miss. Some months there are helpful and interesting articles other months nothing much at all. There are too many advertisements and reviews of products and vessels but then is is probably what brings in the cash, right.
