This magazine is one of my all time favorites! With each issue, I am inspired to try something new, dig out an older project and finish it, or design something totally original! Creative Needle is a must-have magazine for anyone who enjoys smocking, embroidery, fine linens, and perfect finishing touches. Though it is mostly girl's dresses, it also provides patterns and inspirations for womenswear, gifts, and home decor. Each issue comes with full size pull-out patterns. Well worth the subscription price!!

Designs in Machine Embroidery magazine is a must have for machine embroiderers. Each issue is packed with great step-by-step projects-- complete with photos and illustrations, a handy pullout pattern, resource guides and information from the industry's leading machine embroidery experts. Plus, there are free designs available to download from their web site. As a novice embroiderer, this magazine has helped me overcome many of the anxieties I have had in using my machine. There are projects in every issue for a variety of skill levels and the projects are not machine specific. I simply love the magazine!
