First, the disclaimer. I am not a vegetarian. I have, however, planned many vegetarian menus and cooked thousands of vegetarian meals, both professionally and at home. This magazine has a rather quaint approach to cover art and illustrations that reminds me of magazines that my mom read in the sixties. Apart from its appearance, the recipes are wildly inconsistent. Some are very good, fast, and easy to prepare. Others are bland and lifeless, reinforcing the misconception that vegetarian food is uninteresting and "healthy tasting." Some of the recipes contain obvious errors and omissions or call for such odd proportions that one wonders if they were tested prior to publication. Sometimes the small gardener, the home gardener needs some help. This magazine provides easy to understand how-to's and good reviews and information on planting and nurturing plants depending on area, weather, etc. I would highly recommend it!

This is a great magazine. It has articles about what vegetarian foods to eat. It gives ratings on which products are delicious and which ones might be healther to eat. Even the ads are all vegetarian-friendly. It even has an article this month about which type of flowers might be toxic to buy and which ones are not toxic.

This is a helpful magazine although I wish for the price it had more information. I actually subscribe to it for there are not many out there. It does help you out on explaining in detail about selected herbs.
