I am almost finished with the LPN program and I found this magazine very useful and helpful. Its another tool to learn more about diseases, nursing, and helps make classroom information more familiar. The only downside is that it does take an extremly long time for the magazine to come (more than the 6-8wks of other magazines I have ordered) and they do send alot of past issues and then send a renew notice. It is an attractive magazine, the pictures and illustrations are helpful and interesting to look at. So I would reccomend it to anyone in school :)

Every once in a while, there will be an article gem. Overall, this magazine is not for me. It is full of advertising, and what content there is left to fill the pages is like reading a sociology and poetry magazine. I have not been able to really use anything out of my AJN. A lot of fluff and no meat. The ribbon that wraps this up in a "don't do" package is the fact that their customer service STINKS (anyone able to find a phone number?). They screwed up my bill on a book I ordered, sent me a bunch of previously published magazines when I ordered a subscription... It's like there's 5 people that run the whole company.

This is by far the most interesting, informative, researched publication I have ever seen. I am a licensed aesthetician and look forward to every issue to let me know about the new products, ingredients, and procedures out in the industry today. I would recommend this magazine to anyone interested in skincare or plastic surgery as each issue is packed full of information. The wait between issues is long, but with so much research in each issue, well worth the wait!

I have been subscribing to GLUTEN FREE LIVING since it's inception. I have relied greatly on the research into various important gluten-free issues for people with celiac disease and gluten intolerance, including the questions about vinegar, modified food starch, ingredients, hidden gluten, food labeling, etc. These issues have been thoroughly researched, in my opinion and experience with the GF diet for about 19 years. Although there have been some glitches in mailings, they are a professional group with proven editorial skills. This magazine is an important resource for the whole celiac community.
