I love the magazine... but unfortunately had to cancel my subscription because Synapse Inc. (the company that is shipping arch-record through amazon) is incompetent. The magazine arrived badly damaged (they don't wrap it in plastic when they ship it); to be honest, the injuries to the magazine looked so bad that I suspect it was shipped that way. I was incredibly disappointed and tried to contact Synapse to ask for a new magazine... the only problem is that you can not talk to a live person at Synapse. They have an automated customer service hot line with cleverly-worded questions that make it impossible to get satisfaction. Their website offers no other emails or phone number to contact for help. This is a fine magazine with varied and interesting stories in every issue. A little America-centric and a tad heavy on the advertising. Difficult to find second hand as it is a great reference for professionals as well as inspiring for hobbists.

I recently came across the newest home design magazine to hit Colorado - LUXE. While the name says it all, this publication is full of beautiful pictures of both Colorado homes and unique home furnishings. I fell head over heels for a sconce that was in one of the stories, that I had to order. I can't wait to see future issues and pick up cool ideas for my own home. Jill Aspen, CO

This is a very well thought out magazine. The layout and the visuals are top notch. The paper used has a luxurious feel and makes the images very crisp. The writing is very good and the articles are well researched. If you have any interest in current architecture in Texas, or just have an interest in architecture in general I highly recommend you getting a subscription to this magazine; you won't be disappointed.
